Hi, I’m Onyiu, a passionate tutor with 1 year of tutoring experience, dedicated to helping students build confidence in A-Level Psychology, IGCSE First Language English, and IGCSE Global Perspectives. As a first-year psychology student at the University of Bath, I am able to constantly build onto my own learning and understanding of the field whilst simultaneously imparting this onto my students. In my IGCSEs, I achieved 6A*s (highest achievable) and 2As in First Language English, Chemistry, World Literature, Geography, Global Perspectives, Business Studies, Mathematics, and Drama. For sixth form, I studied at Cheltenham Ladies College and achieved A*AAA in EPQ, A-Level Psychology, English Literature, and Mathematics (3 marks away from A*). Having written an EPQ has also equipped me with highly effective time management skills. I believe this will significantly contribute to my effectiveness as a tutor, alongside the empathy I have cultivated having experienced the countless trials and tribulations of my own academic career.

I am currently studying Politics and Sociology at the University of Warwick, where I am achieving a First-class average. I previously studied A Level Sociology, attaining an A grade on the AQA exam board. Hi! My name is Ihab and I am a LSE student studying History and Politics and currently averaging a high 2.1. I have studied a range of History topics from the Ottoman Empire, the Tudors and the Qing Empire which I enjoy. My approach to tutoring is like a conversation in which I prefer to question and prompt my student so they can grow their knowledge within my lessons. This would be through teaching them concepts and information then applying them to past paper questions, as well as my own that I have created. I can adjust the style of my lessons to my students preference in which I aim to find gaps in knowledge and then underlying issues that prevent them from fulfilling their full potential. I am an experienced tutor, as I have been tutoring for nearly 3 years with 2 of them face to face lessons in students houses in which I taught kids from KS1-KS4. As a fully qualified Tennis Coach I have considerable experience in coaching people and in communicating effectively with people, all of whom learn in different ways. Coaching tennis has taught me important time management skills, when balancing that with academic work.
