Hello, my name is Ben, and I am in my second year studying mathematics at Exeter. At GCSE I achieved a 9 in Mathematics, and an A at A-level, with an A* in my EPQ. I have built my approach to mathematics on the back of all my hobbies. I have spent over 10 years studying and performing close-up and stage magic. I also spend my time playing chess and similar games. I have even managed to reach a rating of 2000 on Lichess. Thanks to the university, I have also learnt how to play TTRPGs, and I now run a DnD campaign every week. I then spend what little time I have left experimenting with cooking and coffee brewing. My approach to tutoring is to start by going through some questions to check the student's understanding of core concepts, then based on this I focus on weaker areas, and points that the student is having trouble with.
