My name is Lesson Koirala. I am currently pursuing a degree in Mathematics with Data Science. I have over two years of experience tutoring GCSE and A Level Mathematics students. I am passionate about helping students improve their understanding and confidence. I achieved a grade A in A Level Mathematics.

Student at Kings college, studying for a masters degree in physics (astrophysics and cosmology). Past history of tutoring, starting of with my little brother who struggled a lot with maths and ranging to a mentoring program ran by my old sixth form to teach gsce maths to students that where behind or needed extra help.

My name is Tyra Branch, and I am a third year medical student at the university of Cambridge. As a tutor, I strive for my student to achieve their greatest potential in academic performance and instill them with the essential time management and revision strategies to help them excel. My Educational Background: In my A-Level exams, I have achieved 3 A*s in A-Level maths, chemistry and biology, as well as achieving an A* in my extended project qualification. As a medical student, I apply a range of A-level knowledge to my studies, and the foundations of knowledge these A-Levels have provided have helped me to build up my understanding of complex medical knowledge. The specific exam boards I completed exams for were OCR A for biology, AQA for chemistry and Edexcel for maths. However, I am able to research and accommodate to all exam boards. My style of teaching: As a tutor , I am aware that each student learns differently and may be a visual learner, a learner who values verbal explanations or a learner who values high yield notes. As a result, I can accommodate my teaching style to match the learning style of my student. However, my basic teaching style includes providing a PowerPoint presentation with high yield notes and knowledge for each topic covered on the exam specification (specifications are a list of topics to be covered, and high yield knowledge is knowledge that is often and frequently examined within exam papers). I will also include diagrams to help visualise the complex concepts. Following this we will apply knowledge to practice questions to help to understand the information required in each exam answer and practice the integration of our knowledge into different concepts. I am currently a second year university student studying dentistry. I have had extensive tutoring experience from primary school children up to a level students. I enjoy teaching others and sharing my knowledge in order to be high achieving students and building confidence in students so they can transfer their skills later on. I achieved 10 grade 9s in my GCSEs including maths English and sciences and more; and 3 A* in A level Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology even scoring the highest mark in Maths and Chemistry in my cohort.
