Hello there! I am a tutor in History and Politics for IB, with a background in History and Security Studies. I have combined a strong academic foundation with almost three years of practical experience in educational settings. Moreover, I am a published author. My teaching approach is versatile, direct and tailored to each learner, adapting lessons to individual needs while maintaining clear instruction, practical application and relevant learning experiences that build confidence and achieve measurable progress.

I'm Will, a first year undergraduate at the University of Oxford. I am incredibly passionate about the law and politics and how the two areas intersect with one another and impact upon the geopolitical challenges that the world currently faces. I am a dedicated tutor and will always strive to ensure that my students succeed in reaching their own goals. I hope to inspire confidence in my students by creating a space where they feel comfortable to ask questions and where their own passion for the subject grows and flourishes. I achieved 4 A*s at A‑Level and now study Law with Spanish Law at the University of Oxford, where rigorous academic study has strengthened both my subject expertise and my ability to explain complex ideas in a clear, engaging way. I also received the highest mark in the Criminal Law Moderations paper and a Distinction in Law Mods at the University in 2026. Outside of my own studies, I am a keen runner and also love to travel. I spent time in South America on my gap year and I love to immerse myself in new cultures and languages.

I hold Distinction in International Relations at LSE and First Class Honours in Politics and IR from the University of Manchester, ranking in the top 0.2% of my class and consistently 3 years in a row achieving the highest grades. Alongside my academic studies, I dedicated three years to mentoring students from a wide range of backgrounds, supporting both their academic performance and wellbeing. This commitment earned me a Peer Mentor Award. Moreover, I love to give it back to my community and during my academia I dedicated my free time and volunteered for dog shelters and environmental initiatives. I have extensive experience tutoring through my university, whether helping with admissions preparation, interview practice, or exam revision. Outside of teaching, I’m an avid horse rider, sports enthusiast, and love to lead fun book projects. A quick fun fact about me: last year, I have launched my clients book at the University of Oxford.
