I am a first year mathematics undergraduate at the University of York. Having received A* in A-level Maths and A in A-level Further Maths, along with 9s in GCSE Maths and Further Maths, I believe I can help students who find difficulty in grasping mathematical skills. I believe that I can help students achieve grade 9/ A* in Maths or Further Maths.

I achieved an A* in A-Level Maths and As in Further Maths, Physics, and Computer Science, with 9s in GCSE Maths and Combined Science. I’ve supported peers and siblings in STEM subjects. I am currently studying Computer Science at the University of Manchester. Outside academics, I enjoy the gym, reading, and building coding projects.

I am a current pharmacology undergraduate at King’s College London, with a great passion for teaching and education. Having tutored over the past 4 years, including at a professional academy and at home, I have developed a passion for supporting students along their journey in achieving their academic goals. My current private tutor role began around 4-5 years ago, with me teaching religious studies to younger pupils, including a SEND student. I have gained valuable skills and experience from this role, enhancing my interpersonal skills and providing me a chance to connect to my students and understand their weaknesses and strengths. Additionally, I have been a tutor at an academy for various subjects which include Mathematics, History and English. This role was whilst I was studying at the academy for my A-Level qualifications and lasted for a year. This job allowed me to gain professional experience as a tutor, allowing me to plan my own lessons and deliver them to a group of students who required regular classes for specific subjects. I have had previous experience in volunteering at primary schools, secondary schools and at a children’s centre in a library. Volunteering during the covid pandemic allowed me to be nominated for a Redbridge Citizen Award, this experience was extremely rewarding and further inspired me to pursue more volunteering and work experience.

Hi! I'm currently studying Computer Science at the University of Warwick, one of the top universities in the UK. I’ve always had a strong passion for learning and teaching, especially when it comes to Maths and Physics. I graduated from the International Baccalaureate with a score of 41 out of 45, which is equivalent to AAA at A-Level. I scored 7 out of 7 in Physics HL and 6 out of 7 in Maths AA, which is one of the most challenging maths courses in the IB. Before that, I completed my IGCSEs with A* across all subjects. Hi there! I’m a tutor specialising in GCSE and A-Level Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I studied Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London, followed by a Master’s in Innovation Engineering at both Imperial and the Royal College of Art. I achieved A*, A, A, A in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A-Level. I’ve always believed that the best investment one can make is in learning, especially when it’s done with patience, clarity, and care. I studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bristol, earning my MEng (Integrated Master’s), but I’ve found some of my most meaningful work happens not in labs or lecture halls, but one-on-one with a student and a problem to solve. As a tutor, I’ve helped students from age 6 to 20 grow more confident in mathematics, from foundational skills all the way to A-Level, IB, and university preparation. I don’t believe in shortcuts or gimmicks. I believe in showing up, explaining things clearly, and meeting students where they are. Every student is different. Hi! I am Daniel - a medical student studying at Imperial College London. I have been tutoring for over 4 years now at 2 different centres and really developed a passion for this career. From the past, students have described my lessons as engaging, visual with images and exam question heavy. From my experience at GCSE receiving 11 grade 9s and A*’s at A level, I have applied my personal revision techniques into my teaching as one thing I have witnessed is top grades is not only about learning the content but actually more about exam technique. And as your tutor I will helping your child master BOTH of these with some tricks I used in exams to get the highest mark on Biology in my school for A level. In terms of how my lessons are structured, it would be very dynamic based on the students needs where I would message them for their specification point they want covered in the lesson the day before, allowing me to prepare images and questions I will use in the lesson. I would also set homework and these would be aligned exactly with their specification which would make sure they have mastered that topic. Furthermore to this, I am happy with mentoring students that are applying to medicine having been through the rigorous process myself and giving my tips and tricks for admissions exams (BMAT and UCAT) as well as interviews, having received offers from Imperial, UCL and Cambridge Summer pool.
