Heyy! My name is Alisa, and I am currently a first-year Dentistry student at the University of Birmingham. I offer to teach Biology GCSE and ALEVELS, Psychology AQA. I was very proud to receive four out of four offers for Dentistry from Cardiff, Birmingham, Manchester, and Sheffield, which reflects both my strong academic background and my commitment to hard work and consistency. I achieved 9,9,9,9,9,9,9,9,8 at GCSE. At A level, I achieved two A* in Biology and Psychology, and an A in Chemistry. Hi, I’m Onyiu, a passionate tutor with 1 year of tutoring experience, dedicated to helping students build confidence in A-Level Psychology, IGCSE First Language English, and IGCSE Global Perspectives. As a second-year psychology student at the University of Bath (with an achieved First Class mark in first-year), I am able to constantly build onto my own learning and understanding of the field whilst simultaneously imparting this onto my students. This enables me to be able to provide that extra depth in my lessons. In my IGCSEs, I achieved A* (highest achievable) in IGCSE First Language English and Literature (CIE). For sixth form, I studied at Cheltenham Ladies College and achieved an A in A-Level Psychology (AQA). Having written an EPQ has also equipped me with highly effective time management skills. I believe this will significantly contribute to my effectiveness as a tutor, alongside the empathy I have cultivated having experienced the countless trials and tribulations of my own academic career.

Hi, I’m Larissa! I’m a naturally chatty, friendly and supportive person who loves helping students feel more confident in their abilities. For me, tutoring is about helping students work towards the grades they’re aiming for while also building their understanding, confidence and enjoyment of the subject. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and find an approach that works best for them. I’ve supported younger students during sixth form as well as tutoring my younger brother and family friends’ children. One of the things I’ve really enjoyed is seeing students become more confident as they start to understand a topic that they initially found difficult. Being able to make that difference is a big part of why I love tutoring. Academically, I achieved an A* in English Literature and Language A Level, an A in Psychology and Grade 8s in the GCSE subjects I tutor. I’m now in my second year of university studying English Literature and Film Studies and I’m working towards a first class degree. I am Jana a first year pharmacy student at UCL. I am conscientious and ready to work hard to help students achieve their academic goals. I have a strong passion for Biology, Chemistry and Psychology and I have achieved grades A*A*A in Psychology, Biology and Chemistry A levels, as well as an A* in EPQ. My exam sources include exam style questions, flashcards with detailed information, and the exam board textbook and specification. I have tutored year 8 students at my secondary school maths for a year. I have also tutored my younger sister in year 10 Biology and Chemistry. I make her exam style questions and I have explained the topics like genetics, mitosis and natural selection by making mnemonics and ensuring spaced repetition. I am currently studying Pharmacy at Newcastle University and have always had a strong interest in science, particularly Biology and Chemistry.
