Although I was initially predicted CCD at A-level, I achieved AAB on results day, something I’m incredibly proud of. This experience has shaped the way I tutor. Hi! I'm Oscar, and I'm a third-year student at the University of Warwick studying Computer Science. Having been through the pressure of GCSEs, A-levels, and UCAS, I understand the pressures students face and have a relaxed yet careful approach to tutoring. This includes ensuring content is thoroughly understood through many examples and exam questions, as well as focusing on exam technique by utilising examiners' reports and mark schemes provided by exam boards to help students write the best answers possible. My experience using these methods is extensive - enabling me to score 9 9s in my GCSEs and 3 A*Ss at A-level in Geography, Biology and Mathematics (as well as full marks in a software-related EPQ), I look to educate students not just on the subject content but also help them learn exceptional exam technique to reduce their stress during exams.
