Hi, my name is Max and I am a recent Human, Social and Political Sciences graduate at the University of Cambridge. This is not only in relation to set texts, but sometimes I have found it rewarding for the student (depending on their ability) to discuss texts beyond the curriculum to challenge them further (especially in English Language lessons) Overall, my approach to teaching is professional, approachable, engaging, and I seek to tailor my teaching methods for the needs of each student. Part of this is my in-depth knowledge of exam-boards such as AQA and Edexcel, meaning I can tailor tutoring lessons to each board respectively, and ensure I cover the required content in-depth. Now that I have graduated, I am also very flexible regarding scheduling, meaning I am available for as many or as little sessions as you need me for. This will be the case until the start of next year, meaning I can offer long-term tutoring support. I am looking to tutor students at both A-Level and GCSE (History) levels and help them get the best possible grade. Before university, I took a year to travel the world, giving me valuable life experience, meaning I am mature, reliable, and patient, and will bring these skills alongside my subject knowledge and a positive energy to help as a tutor.
