We ask parents to have a 15-minute introduction meeting with the tutors of their choice to book sessions with confidence.

Every tutor goes through a thorough vetting process before joining our platform. Our educational experts conduct a one-to-one interview to assess their subject knowledge, communication skills, and tutoring approach, while their academic achievements and relevant certifications are also verified. Only tutors who meet our standards are approved to join the platform.

No, we only accept current students or very recent graduates from the UK's top universities as our tutors. Because of how amazing all of them are, we call them Super-Tutors.

Parents enter search criteria based on their requirements, which can be: availability, budget, academic targets, etc. This allows us to show parents the best matches and encourage them to book free trial sessions to get to know the tutors better. Don’t worry, if you decide that you’d like a different tutor, we will find a better match for you and replace your tutor with no additional cost to you.

Yes, you can communicate directly with your tutor through our platform. Once you book a trial or paid sessions, a group chat will be created where you can easily discuss time changes, upcoming lessons, or any other tutoring-related questions.

Tutors set their own prices based on their experience and expertise, so the price per session varies depending on the tutor. The final session price also depends on the number of sessions booked, as larger bookings come with greater discounts.

There are two ways to pay for sessions. All sessions can be paid for upfront, with bigger discounts available when more sessions are booked. Alternatively, a payment method can be added and used similarly to a Direct Debit, with the payment automatically taken 24 hours before each lesson.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted. Klarna is also available for paying in installments.

We will never ask you to enter card details on Edumentors website. Instead, you will be taken to our payments partner Stripe website. Stripe is the world's leading and one of the most secure online payments platforms. No, you can chose to be charged per each session 24 hours in advance, however in the case of an upfront payment we offer discounts for bulk bookings

You need to go to the My Bookings page inside your dashboard and click on the Confirmed button to see your active Bookings.

All sessions are held online via Google Meet. A unique meeting link is automatically generated for each booking and can be found in your session details and in the group chat with your tutor before the session.

Yes, parents are encouraged to rate tutors and leave a review after their sessions. It also helps Edumentors monitor the quality of tutoring provided and ensure that tutors continue to meet the standards expected on the platform.

Yes. You can send a reschedule request from the platform and once the tutor approves it, the session will appear with a new time in your calendar. If you were already charged for the rescheduled session, you won’t be charged again. You can only reschedule sessions that have not been completed yet.
