My name is Samara and I have recently completed A levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and an EPQ. I look forward to working together with your child to help them to achieve their full potential and having tutored for GCSE chemistry for two years throughout sixth form, I know how important it is to have the right support to achieve their dream grades. I also have a particular passion for the sciences, particularly biology and chemistry which I would love to be able to pass on to the students that I tutor. I have achieved seven grade 8s and 2 grade 9s at GCSE with a 9 in GCSE Chemistry and an 8 in both GCSE Biology and Physics. As someone who has been through GCSEs and tutored as well, I have been able to help effectively prepare students to achieve their target grades; one of my tutees went from a grade 6 to a grade 8 in the final exams. Hi, I’m Sunshine! I’m a Medical student studying at King’s College London. I have been tutoring for the last 5 years, progressing from freelance to working professionally within a sixth form during my gap year. Currently, I’m pursuing my 4th Year of Medicine, where I am working towards a First Class. Hi! I am Daniel - a medical student studying at Imperial College London. I have been tutoring for over 4 years now at 2 different centres and really developed a passion for this career. From the past, students have described my lessons as engaging, visual with images and exam question heavy. From my experience at GCSE receiving 11 grade 9s and A*’s at A level, I have applied my personal revision techniques into my teaching as one thing I have witnessed is top grades is not only about learning the content but actually more about exam technique. And as your tutor I will helping your child master BOTH of these with some tricks I used in exams to get the highest mark on Biology in my school for A level. In terms of how my lessons are structured, it would be very dynamic based on the students needs where I would message them for their specification point they want covered in the lesson the day before, allowing me to prepare images and questions I will use in the lesson. I would also set homework and these would be aligned exactly with their specification which would make sure they have mastered that topic. Furthermore to this, I am happy with mentoring students that are applying to medicine having been through the rigorous process myself and giving my tips and tricks for admissions exams (BMAT and UCAT) as well as interviews, having received offers from Imperial, UCL and Cambridge Summer pool.
