I am Alice, a third year Classics student at Oxford University. I have been tutoring formally for over two years and I offer tutoring for English Language, History, Geography, Biology and Maths up to GCSE level, as well as Latin and Greek up to A level standard. I achieved 9s in all of these subjects, with 98% in History, 97% in Geography (awarded a prize for coming top in the exam board), 98% in Maths (and 94% in Additional Mathematics), 98% in Latin, and 97% in Greek. I can also provide mentorship for University applications, particularly for Oxbridge. My tutoring style consists of both general teaching (such as Latin, Greek and English Language from scratch) as well as specification-based teaching. My main focus is on inspiring confidence and encouraging productive revision techniques, including an emphasis on past papers and tailoring one's answers to what the exam board wants. I believe that, by learning from examiners' reports and mark schemes, one can provide the examiner with exactly what they want to hear. This is crucial for achieving top marks or for jumping up several grades.

Hi, my name is Christopher but I go by Kit. I'm an English Literature and Language student at Corpus Christi College Oxford. I'm very passionate about English literature, as well as textual and linguistic concepts more generally. I love to teach and talk about my interests to my peers, friends, parents, or really anyone who's willing to listen! I have a keen grasp of the history of English literature, and a strong interest in the history of the language itself. I'm a capable and unselfconscious public speaker with experience in presenting on literary topics both at school and university, as well as a love of performing drama. I am also an intermediate reader of Classical Greek having completed the A-level.
