I have always taken my academics seriously, and receiving an Academic Achievement Award was a meaningful milestone for me because it reflected the effort, consistency, and discipline I put into my studies over time. More importantly, it shaped how I approach learning itself, not as memorisation, but as understanding why things work. That mindset is at the core of how I tutor. My tutoring style is highly interactive and question-based. I don’t believe in talking at students. Instead, I focus on constant engagement by asking questions, encouraging students to explain their thinking, and working through problems together. Especially in subjects like Math, working through past paper questions is important, which is why I stress on this aspect very much during tutoring sessions. This helps me understand where they’re getting stuck and allows them to build confidence in their own reasoning rather than relying on answers being given to them. I’m very patient and adapt each session to the student’s pace, whether they need concepts broken down slowly or prefer to be challenged with more difficult questions. I’m also flexible in how I tutor — both in teaching style and scheduling. I understand that students have different routines and commitments, so I’m happy to adjust across days where possible to make learning consistent and manageable. My aim is to create a supportive, low-pressure environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, because that’s where real learning happens. Ultimately, I want students to leave sessions not just with better grades, but with a clearer understanding and greater confidence in their ability to learn independently.

Hello! I’m Marta, an international student from Spain, currently studying English and Spanish Law through a joint program at King’s College London and Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. Recently, I have been tutoring first-year IB students and am deeply passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals. I strive to create a supportive and motivating learning environment where students can grow, learn, and excel.

I am in my second year studying Maths and Philohophy at the University of Warwick. I have been tutoring since 2022 in a range of subjects, originally helping struggling students in my secondary school with English Language and Literature and later supporting A level and other higher level students in maths, sciences and other academic support. I enjoy working with children and helping them to learn to love their subjects the same way I do! Hi! My name is Achinta, and I’m currently studying Economics, Finance and Data Science at Imperial College London. I achieved 45/45 in the IB and earned 11 9s at GCSE. Beyond academics, I’m an avid long-distance runner and am currently training for my next marathon.
