Hi! I tutor English Literature, Language, creative writing, at all levels. Specifically, I specialise in catered exam prep, past paper practice, targeted exam style questions, as well as strengthening reading, spelling, and writing skills for younger years. I don’t believe in a one size fits all approach so based on my students learning style, I custom make each lesson to hit their learning targets. For KS2, including english tutoring, I also teach SAT prep, as well as 11+ exam prep, focusing on comprehension, analysis, writing, grammar and vocabulary. With KS3, there is a well rounded approach drawn to conclude and excel. GCSE and A-Level students are taught exam style questions, past paper practice, timed conditions, and guided AO1-5 tutoring dependent on exam board, and level. Similarly, I also tutor spelling, and english as a language to non native speakers. With that, I hold a BA in History and Politics as well as currently pursuing a MA in Journalism. Hi, my name is Max and I am a recent Human, Social and Political Sciences graduate at the University of Cambridge. I have studied a range of History topics from the Ottoman Empire, the Tudors and the Qing Empire which I enjoy. My approach to tutoring is like a conversation in which I prefer to question and prompt my student so they can grow their knowledge within my lessons.
