I am a passionate and enthusiastic teacher with a love of all things literature and writing, and I tutor in English Literature (GCSE & A Level) and English Language (GCSE). I am hardworking, approachable and dedicated to creating lessons well adapted to a students individual requirements and their confidence in the subject. I achieved Two A grades in English Literature and Drama & Theatre at A Level and my coursework in Drama, English and History A Level received A* grades. Hello! I am Bertie and I’m a trainee lawyer having previously studied Classics at Durham University where I graduated with a First. I love the the English language, classical world, History and History of Art and enjoy tutoring in these fields. I got 11 A*s in 12 GCSEs, and 4 A*s at A Level in English, History, Latin and Greek. I write articles for magazines, I am a member of my university Diplomatic Society producing a weekly dossier and love to read about current affairs and historical books and articles. I have experience in tutoring and enjoy watching students develop their skills and help them to achieve better grades.
