Hi, I'm Sumaiya and I'm studying Biological sciences with a foundation year at Queen Mary university of London.I I received Grades 9-8 during my GCSEs.’m passionate about learning, leading, and supporting others in their growth. I have tutored English, literature to GCSE students and I’ve also helped my siblings with math and other subjects. I’ve extended this passion through volunteering at a primary school, where I supported children in developing their English and math skills. These experiences strengthened my communication skills, patience and ability to explain ideas clearly—qualities I bring to every tutoring session. Beyond tutoring, I’ve taken on leadership roles as a House Captain and Prefect, where I guided and motivated my peers. These opportunities taught me valuable skills in teamwork, organization and problem-solving, as well as the confidence to step up and take responsibility. I’m also proud of my achievements outside the classroom. Winning a trophy in an Islamic competition showed me the rewards of dedication, discipline and continuous learning. Along the way, I’ve balanced academics, extracurricular activities community involvement and my faith, building strong time management and adaptability skills. When I’m not studying or leading, I enjoy relaxing and spending time with my family through watching movies and TV shows—they’re my favorite way to relax, discover new perspectives and spark creativity. At the heart of everything I do—whether it’s tutoring, volunteering, or leading—I aim to make a positive impact on others, while growing into a more skilled, empathetic, and confident individual.

Most students don’t dislike learning — they just haven’t seen how it connects to real life yet. That’s where I come in. I teach English Language, Economics and Fine Art in ways that make all three click: grounded in clarity, practicality, and curiosity. Because learning becomes fun — and memorable — when you’re genuinely interested. I graduated with a BSc in Management (2:1) from the University of Warwick (Warwick Business School), after achieving A*s in both Fine Art and Economics at A-Level, and ten GCSEs graded A–A*. My third A-Level was in Maths, in which I achieved an A. Those years taught me that the difference between confusion and confidence is often just one good explanation — applied to the real world — and a little patience. In Economics, I draw from real-world examples — from running my own boutique consultancy to lessons shared by the serial entrepreneurs of, 7- and 8-figure brands, who’ve mentored me over the last 5+ years. Theory becomes tangible when you can see how it shows up in business and everyday decisions alike. In Fine Art, I specialise in charcoal — exploring light, depth, and composition. I help students develop the discipline and observation that turns good work into great work. A-Level Fine Art demands both quality and quantity, so I help students build systems that support both. My approach is simple: meet students where they are, make the subject make sense, and build genuine confidence along the way.

Hi everyone, So my name is Qadir (Cardi) I am graduate medic (MD). I am hoping to specialise in Neurosurgery in the long term hence I also did Neuroscience Bsc at the University of Exeter. So what does that mean for you? Like you, I am still a student so I can understand how everyone has their unique approach to learning and I'll make sure to work with you to find the best way for you to learn the content you need. Ever since I embarked on my journey in medicine, I've been deeply committed to understanding the fundamental principles of biology and chemistry. Through rigorous coursework and hands-on experience in the medical field, I've gained a profound understanding of these subjects. I believe that this deep knowledge not only helps me excel in my medical studies but also equips me to convey complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner to my students. Mathematics has always been an integral part of my academic journey. From calculus to statistics, I've tackled various mathematical challenges with enthusiasm. I understand that many students find math daunting, but I'm here to simplify it, making it accessible and even enjoyable. I believe that with the right guidance and practice, anyone can master math. My previous experience of tutoring stems from back when I was an A level student myself helping to tutor my cousins and family friends' kids up until the GSCE level. Then I further developed this into professinally tutoring from 2021 where I have delivered over 2000 lessons online to students from KS3 to A level in the subjects I am offering. My tutoring approach is student-centered and tailored to individual needs. I'm patient, approachable, and dedicated to helping my students build a solid foundation in these subjects. Whether you're preparing for exams, seeking to improve your grades, or simply aiming to deepen your understanding of biology, chemistry, or math, I'm here to support you every step of the way. In addition to academic support, I'm also passionate about fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I encourage my students to ask questions, think critically, and develop a love for learning. My goal is not only to help you achieve short-term academic success but also to equip you with the skills you'll need to thrive in future educational and professional endeavors. When I'm not immersed in my medical studies or tutoring, you can find me volunteering at local clinics, conducting research in the field of healthcare, or unwinding with a good book. I believe that a well-rounded education encompasses not only academic excellence but also a commitment to giving back to the community. I look forward to joining you on your academic journey and helping you reach your full potential in biology, chemistry, and mathematics. Together, we can unlock the best study program which will help students academically flourish and achieve their goal.

Very big improvement given a short period of time with only a small time period of about 3 months my daughter in year 10 has gone from a level U to a level 4 in her maths grade with her tutor Jose. He is a very good maths teacher and has very easy ways of doing hard GCSE maths. What my daughter used to find immensely hard is now very easy. Jose is sadly not her tutor anymore but this was a very great experience and will be looking forward to using this company again for my daughter to get high grades and pass her GCSE’s thank you very much.

Excellent service, highly recommented Booked a block of Lessons leading up to my sons maths exam as maths was his weakest subject and he felt he wanted help. Pia (the tutor) was patient and professional and explained things in a way my son could easily understand. He looked forward to each lesson and felt the lessons gave him the confidence, knowledge and understanding he needed to face his maths GCSE exam. He thinks he did really well in his first exam and we are so pleased we invested in the lessons leading up to his GCSE’s. Can’t recommend Edumentors and Pia enough. Really professional service and well worth the money.

The tutoring times were really flexible and the tutor themselves (Izzy Mitchell) was amazing. The level of communication allowed between the student and tutor made it easy for my questions to be answered quickly. So thank you so much Edumentors and Izzy! Personally, I went from a 6 to a 9 in AQA English literature in just a few weeks so if you are thinking about it, give it a go!

Absolutely superb. Helped my son move from a predicted D in Maths to an actual A, in year. Highly recommend both Edumentors and specifically Apoorv as a tutor. It was easy to set-up, pay and manage. Any issues were solved quickly and without fuss.

Fantastic Flexible German Tutoring We had Imogen from Edumentor tutoring my daughter for GCSE’s. Imogen is a fantastic tutor and through the year prepared my daughter enabling her to get a 9 in German. Edumentor were extremely flexible and helpful in ensuring we could have the sessions when we needed them the most. I would throughly recommend using them for your GCSE tutoring.
