Hi, I’m Ray, a medical student currently studying at university and someone who’s been in your shoes not too long ago. With a track record of achieving straight A*s and 9s in my GCSEs and A-Levels, I understand exactly what it takes to excel academically, even under pressure. My focus is on helping you not only achieve your academic goals but also develop a study routine that works for you. In school, I took on the role of prefect, where I was responsible for mentoring younger students and promoting both academic and sporting excellence. Whether it was delivering presentations to classes or guiding individuals through 1-on-1 sessions, I found great fulfillment in helping others grow and succeed. Those experiences taught me how to explain concepts clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and encourage confidence in students of all levels. What makes me unique as a tutor is that I bring the perspective of someone who just completed the same journey. I understand the challenges—whether it’s finding motivation, managing stress, or tackling tricky subjects—and I can provide practical strategies to help you overcome them. My study methods are efficient, and I’ll show you how to make the most of your revision time while still carving out space for hobbies, relaxation, and balance. For me, playing sports and staying active was a key part of managing stress, and I encourage finding outlets that keep you energized during exam periods. If you’re looking for a tutor who not only knows the syllabus but also understands the realities of student life, I’d love to help. Together, we can break down difficult concepts, build your confidence, and create a plan tailored to your goals. Let’s make those grades happen—while keeping the journey as stress-free as possible. I look forward to working with you, and whatever your academic goals may be, I wish you all the success in the world!

Hi everyone, So my name is Qadir (Cardi) I am graduate medic (MD). I am hoping to specialise in Neurosurgery in the long term hence I also did Neuroscience Bsc at the University of Exeter. So what does that mean for you? Like you, I am still a student so I can understand how everyone has their unique approach to learning and I'll make sure to work with you to find the best way for you to learn the content you need. Ever since I embarked on my journey in medicine, I've been deeply committed to understanding the fundamental principles of biology and chemistry. Through rigorous coursework and hands-on experience in the medical field, I've gained a profound understanding of these subjects. I believe that this deep knowledge not only helps me excel in my medical studies but also equips me to convey complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner to my students. Mathematics has always been an integral part of my academic journey. From calculus to statistics, I've tackled various mathematical challenges with enthusiasm. I understand that many students find math daunting, but I'm here to simplify it, making it accessible and even enjoyable. I believe that with the right guidance and practice, anyone can master math. My previous experience of tutoring stems from back when I was an A level student myself helping to tutor my cousins and family friends' kids up until the GSCE level. Then I further developed this into professinally tutoring from 2021 where I have delivered over 2000 lessons online to students from KS3 to A level in the subjects I am offering. My tutoring approach is student-centered and tailored to individual needs. I'm patient, approachable, and dedicated to helping my students build a solid foundation in these subjects. Whether you're preparing for exams, seeking to improve your grades, or simply aiming to deepen your understanding of biology, chemistry, or math, I'm here to support you every step of the way. In addition to academic support, I'm also passionate about fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I encourage my students to ask questions, think critically, and develop a love for learning. My goal is not only to help you achieve short-term academic success but also to equip you with the skills you'll need to thrive in future educational and professional endeavors. When I'm not immersed in my medical studies or tutoring, you can find me volunteering at local clinics, conducting research in the field of healthcare, or unwinding with a good book. I believe that a well-rounded education encompasses not only academic excellence but also a commitment to giving back to the community. I look forward to joining you on your academic journey and helping you reach your full potential in biology, chemistry, and mathematics. Together, we can unlock the best study program which will help students academically flourish and achieve their goal.

Very big improvement given a short period of time with only a small time period of about 3 months my daughter in year 10 has gone from a level U to a level 4 in her maths grade with her tutor Jose. He is a very good maths teacher and has very easy ways of doing hard GCSE maths. What my daughter used to find immensely hard is now very easy. Jose is sadly not her tutor anymore but this was a very great experience and will be looking forward to using this company again for my daughter to get high grades and pass her GCSE’s thank you very much.

Excellent service, highly recommented Booked a block of Lessons leading up to my sons maths exam as maths was his weakest subject and he felt he wanted help. Pia (the tutor) was patient and professional and explained things in a way my son could easily understand. He looked forward to each lesson and felt the lessons gave him the confidence, knowledge and understanding he needed to face his maths GCSE exam. He thinks he did really well in his first exam and we are so pleased we invested in the lessons leading up to his GCSE’s. Can’t recommend Edumentors and Pia enough. Really professional service and well worth the money.

The tutoring times were really flexible and the tutor themselves (Izzy Mitchell) was amazing. The level of communication allowed between the student and tutor made it easy for my questions to be answered quickly. So thank you so much Edumentors and Izzy! Personally, I went from a 6 to a 9 in AQA English literature in just a few weeks so if you are thinking about it, give it a go!

Fantastic Flexible German Tutoring We had Imogen from Edumentor tutoring my daughter for GCSE’s. Imogen is a fantastic tutor and through the year prepared my daughter enabling her to get a 9 in German. Edumentor were extremely flexible and helpful in ensuring we could have the sessions when we needed them the most. I would throughly recommend using them for your GCSE tutoring.

Need a Biology Tutor to Help Your Child Succeed?

KS3 Biology is often the stage where students first meet more detailed science ideas, from cells and organs to ecosystems and inheritance. Some children enjoy the subject straight away, while others need more time to connect new terms with real examples.

For many parents, extra support becomes useful when homework feels unclear or class topics start moving too quickly. A KS3 Biology tutor can help make the basics easier to follow, while a KS3 Science tutor or KS3 Chemistry tutor may support wider science skills.

Clear explanations at this stage can make Biology feel less confusing before GCSE begins.

KS3 Biology tutors usually start from around £25 per hour, depending on experience and the level of support needed. Some students need help with weekly homework, while others need broader science support before GCSE. Many parents begin by trying to find a tutor and comparing teaching styles, subject knowledge and how well the tutor explains ideas in simple language.
