As an Imperial College London Computing student, I specialize in helping IB students conquer the most demanding STEM subjects. I achieved an IB score of 43/45, with 7s in Physics HL, Mathematics AA HL, and Computer Science HL. I’ve always believed that the best investment one can make is in learning, especially when it’s done with patience, clarity, and care. I studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bristol, earning my MEng (Integrated Master’s), but I’ve found some of my most meaningful work happens not in labs or lecture halls, but one-on-one with a student and a problem to solve. As a tutor, I’ve helped students from age 6 to 20 grow more confident in mathematics, from foundational skills all the way to A-Level, IB, and university preparation. I don’t believe in shortcuts or gimmicks. I believe in showing up, explaining things clearly, and meeting students where they are. Every student is different. My job is to listen, guide, and help them build understanding step by step. I also mentor students interested in engineering careers, drawing from my own experience in the field. And in my work with AI training, I craft and evaluate advanced mathematics content to improve how machines “think.” But whether I’m teaching a 12-year-old fractions or reviewing postgraduate-level prompts, the goal stays the same: to make the complex simple, and to help others see the beauty in problem-solving. I specialise in A Level and IB Computer Science, with a particular focus on NEA and IA project supervision. What I'm best at: - A Level Computer Science NEA supervision. Structured guidance through analysis, design, technical implementation, testing and evaluation, including help identifying a credible client problem, setting measurable success criteria, and producing a write-up that meets the mark scheme. - IB Computer Science Internal Assessment supervision. End-to-end support developing computational solutions that satisfy the IB criteria, with written feedback between sessions. - A Level and IB Computer Science exam preparation across all paper components, AS through A2 and SL through HL. I am a 3rd year Medical student at Manchester and i studied biology, chemistry and Spanish at a level, my passion for these subjects has got me to the course of my dreams and I’d love to help people who are in situations like mine, to push through the tough parts and find a way to enjoy their subjects in order to do the best they can! Hi! I'm Oscar, and I'm a third-year student at the University of Warwick studying Computer Science. Having been through the pressure of GCSEs, A-levels, and UCAS, I understand the pressures students face and have a relaxed yet careful approach to tutoring. This includes ensuring content is thoroughly understood through many examples and exam questions, as well as focusing on exam technique by utilising examiners' reports and mark schemes provided by exam boards to help students write the best answers possible. My experience using these methods is extensive - enabling me to score 9 9s in my GCSEs and 3 A*Ss at A-level in Geography, Biology and Mathematics (as well as full marks in a software-related EPQ), I look to educate students not just on the subject content but also help them learn exceptional exam technique to reduce their stress during exams.
