Hi, I’m Skye — an English and Film student at the University of Bristol currently working at a high 2:1 average. I have been teaching on the Edumentors platform for a year now. I worked incredibly hard to achieve AAB at A-Level, which helped me realise my dream of studying at a prestigious Russell Group university. I earned top grades in English and History, and achieved a strong academic foundation with GCSEs at grades 7–9. I’m passionate about sharing both my love for English and History and my experience of getting into university. Hello! My name is Kitty and I’m a recent graduate from Oxford. I studied English Language and Literature at Trinity College. I have tutored both English Language and Literature for GCSE and A-Level. This consisted of preparing students for exams by working through past questions together and discussing good techniques for both revision and for exams. I tutored students taking a wide variety of different exam boards, so have experience with the format and requirements of AQA, Edexcel, OCR and CIE. I have also helped lots of students with Oxbridge application preparation. This included helping with personal statements, written work, unseen poem practice and mock interviews. My work here was a blend of instruction and teaching but I also sought to encourage confidence and skills of articulacy to help the students have the means to talk through their own ideas in a relaxed and clear way.

My name is Lukas, I am 23 years old and have recently graduated from a master's in Renaissance literature at St. Hilda's College, Oxford University, previously studying at St. Catherine's in Oxford for my undergraduate English Literature degree. I have achieved a high merit in my MA and a high 2.1 in my undergraduate degree. I began tutoring to supplement my income during my studies. I am very passionate about teaching literature, having worked both online and in-person with my students, and I hope to complete a PHD in the coming years to allow me to teach literature as a career. My name is Ionut, I am a third year History and Politics student at Durham, looking to use my three years experience in tutoring English, History and Politics to give all my students longstanding academic success.
