Hi, I’m Iseabhail! I’m currently an undergraduate student at the University of St Andrews studying French, Arabic, and Persian. I achieved A*s in both French and English Literature at A-Level, as well as an 8 in French, and a 9 in English Literature at GCSE. I’ve focused on building a strong academic foundation that is rooted in a deep love for Literature and Modern Languages which allows me to communicate complex ideas clearly. Through my experience as a Class Rep for Persian at university, I advocate for fellow learners and bring leadership and communication directly to my tutoring. My journey began through informal tutoring and mentoring, supporting my sister, her friends, and family friends through their own exams. This experience introduced me to the various styles of teaching required to help students progress and understand different ideas or concepts. I pride myself on adapting my teaching style to fit each individual, ensuring they don’t just ‘learn’ the content, but truly engage with and enjoy it. Whether it’s breaking down a difficult text or mastering new grammar, I use flexible teaching methods tailored to the student’s needs. I understand the dedication and commitment required to excel in the UK exam system and I am dedicated to helping students find their own passion for their subjects, turning ‘difficult’ content into an enjoyable challenge. I am a student in my first year of university at the University of Bristol, where I study Spanish and International Business Management. At A-Level, I studied Spanish, French and History, where I achieved the grades of A*, A and B respectively. Prior to University, I spent two years tutoring my neighbour at a basic primary school level, which I really enjoyed doing, and so I am hoping to enjoy tutoring at a higher level whilst also challenging myself to improve as a tutor.

I have been studying French and Spanish for over a decade and am currently pursuing Spanish at degree level. My own academic background includes grade 8 (A*) in both French and Spanish at GCSE, an A* in A-Level French, and an A in A-Level Spanish. For the past 9 months, I have been tutoring French and Spanish at GCSE and A-Level across Edexcel GCSE/IGCSE and AQA, with fantastic outcomes. This summer, my students achieved: • GCSE French Foundation – Grade 5 (highest grade possible) • GCSE French Higher – Grade 8 (A*) • A-Level Spanish – Grade A More results are pending, but feedback suggests equally positive performances. I take pride in the progress my students make—whether it’s helping a student secure a solid pass at Foundation level, or pushing a motivated Higher or A-Level student to achieve top grades. I also mentor sixth formers through the personal statement process, with my students receiving 4–5 university offers each. My teaching style: I always begin with a diagnostic assessment to identify strengths and areas for development. From there, I design a clear programme of weekly lessons, exercises, and homework. A big part of excelling in GCSEs and A-Levels is exam readiness, so I make sure my students are fully acclimatised to the papers—walking into the exam hall with confidence and no surprises. Above all, I am passionate about languages and about supporting young people. Whether a student is building confidence from the ground up or striving for the top grades, I adapt my approach to bring out the very best in them.

I’m Alanah, I study French and Russian at UCL, with A-levels in Maths, French and Latin. I have a year of tutoring experience, working with children in the age range of 9-18. Hi there, I'm Apollo! I have recently graduated from Harrow School taking A-Level English Literature, Fine Art and French. I am French myself and speak the language fluently, and my passions are literature, writing, the creative arts and film, which I am studying at King's College London. I have tutored French for a year at my previous school for students taking French GCSE. I am currently in my 1st year at Cambridge University where I am studying Modern and Medieval Languages (French and Latin). At A Level I got an A* in French, Latin and Maths and an A in Further Maths and at GCSE I got 11 9s and an 8.

Hello! My name is Lucy, a final year French and Arabic student at the University of Oxford. My passion is learning about foreign languages and cultures; however, I have experience with a range of subject areas. I took Mathematics, Further Mathematics, French and Geography at A level, achieving an A* in all subjects, as well as attainting an A* in my EPQ analysing Islam in modern French and Algerian literature.
