I have been studying French and Spanish for over a decade and am currently pursuing Spanish at degree level. My own academic background includes grade 8 (A*) in both French and Spanish at GCSE, an A* in A-Level French, and an A in A-Level Spanish. For the past 9 months, I have been tutoring French and Spanish at GCSE and A-Level across Edexcel GCSE/IGCSE and AQA, with fantastic outcomes. This summer, my students achieved: • GCSE French Foundation – Grade 5 (highest grade possible) • GCSE French Higher – Grade 8 (A*) • A-Level Spanish – Grade A More results are pending, but feedback suggests equally positive performances. I take pride in the progress my students make—whether it’s helping a student secure a solid pass at Foundation level, or pushing a motivated Higher or A-Level student to achieve top grades. I also mentor sixth formers through the personal statement process, with my students receiving 4–5 university offers each. My teaching style: I always begin with a diagnostic assessment to identify strengths and areas for development. From there, I design a clear programme of weekly lessons, exercises, and homework. A big part of excelling in GCSEs and A-Levels is exam readiness, so I make sure my students are fully acclimatised to the papers—walking into the exam hall with confidence and no surprises. Above all, I am passionate about languages and about supporting young people. Whether a student is building confidence from the ground up or striving for the top grades, I adapt my approach to bring out the very best in them.

I have extensive experience in education and tutoring, specializing in creative and language-based learning. As a French teacher at Alliance Française (2022–2023), I designed and delivered engaging lessons using the FLE method, managing groups of up to 15 children and providing tailored feedback to support their learning. At Oasis Nurture (2024), I used art as a tool for emotional resilience, leading therapeutic workshops for underprivileged children, mentoring assistants, and curating an exhibition of their work. Since 2021, I have been a private tutor, offering one-on-one lessons in French, Art History, and Cambridge application preparation. I have successfully guided students through personal statements, interview techniques, and subject-specific knowledge, with one student gaining admission to Cambridge. My current role as creative health and outreach curator at Looking Forward (2024–present) involves designing community-based art programmes to support children's well-being, collaborating with institutions like Whitechapel Gallery and Serpentine Galleries to make art more inclusive and accessible. Additionally, as an education and outreach volunteer at the Whipple Museum (2024), I developed strategies to make complex topics engaging and understandable for the public. Through these roles, I have developed strong teaching, mentoring, and curriculum design skills, with a particular focus on inclusive and creative learning.

Are you struggling to keep up with math class? Don't worry, I'm here to help! As a math tutor, I can provide the guidance you need to succeed in this challenging subject. My passion for teaching math began during my internship at Bishop Challoner Catholic College and Haybridge High School, where I shadowed experienced teachers, observed lessons, and even had the chance to plan and deliver my own lessons to students of different ages and abilities. Through these experiences, I learned how to tailor my teaching style to each student's individual needs and help them overcome their math-related challenges. In addition to my internships, I also have experience as a child workforce assistant coach for the CoachBright Volunteering Programme, where I worked with school pupils from low-income backgrounds to help them improve their grades, confidence, and access to university. I have also served as an AS Maths mentor at Bournville College and a Year 5 teaching assistant at Bordesley Green Primary School, where I provided extra support to students through clear explanations and creative visual aids. My approach to math tutoring is personalised, patient, and student-centered. Whether you need help with basic arithmetic or advanced calculus, I will work with you to identify your strengths and weaknesses, set realistic goals, and create a customized learning plan that suits your needs and learning style. Don't let math anxiety hold you back any longer. Contact me to schedule a session and take the first step towards math success!

Hi! I'm Ayman, a friendly second year medical student at UCL. I have been tutoring for over two years and absolutely love helping students explore and fulfil their potential. I gained 4x A*s at A-Level and 11x9s at iGCSE. Having completed my second year at UCL Medical School, with a first and top decile in both years I understand the rigorous application process and the essential skills needed to succeed. Throughout my academic journey, I actively engaged in wider reading and participated in numerous interviews, gaining insights into what admissions committees seek in prospective students. I also currently interview UCL Medicine students and am well placed to know what medical schools are asking for at interview. My tutoring approach focuses on individualised attention, tailoring my guidance to the specific needs of each student. I aim to foster critical thinking, communication skills, and overall confidence, equipping applicants with the tools necessary to excel in their wider reading and interview experiences. I am confident that my expertise, combined with my empathetic and supportive approach, can help you navigate the application process with confidence and achieve your academic goals. I was successful in all my medical school applications (UCL, King's, Cambridge and Nottingham) and I can help you to gain all your offers too. I am available all summer weekday evenings and weekend mornings

I've been tutoring for over two years, working with students across Maths, English Language & Literature, French, Spanish and Geography. I've taught learners at different levels and stages, and I tailor my approach depending on what each subject and each student actually needs. Every student I've worked with has improved by at least one grade within 8 weeks. That includes taking students from failing GCSE Maths to passing, giving them a level of confidence in the subject they didn't have before. With languages, I've helped students who were nervous and too scared to speak go from staying silent in lessons to properly holding a conversation, simply by making mistakes feel like a normal part of learning rather than something to be afraid of. My sessions are bespoke to you rather than built around a fixed syllabus, and they adapt as you progress, so we're never working from a plan that's stopped being useful. I lean heavily on real world examples to make each subject click, because in my experience most students don't lack ability, they lack a reason to care about the material in front of them. Once that reason is there, progress tends to follow quickly. I'm trilingual, with French and Spanish to C1 level and Catalan to B2, alongside a TEFL qualification, passed with Merit. That background means I understand language learning both as a student and as a teacher. Let's talk about where you're at and what you're aiming for. I'll build the sessions around your goals and make sure we get there!

Very big improvement given a short period of time with only a small time period of about 3 months my daughter in year 10 has gone from a level U to a level 4 in her maths grade with her tutor Jose. He is a very good maths teacher and has very easy ways of doing hard GCSE maths. What my daughter used to find immensely hard is now very easy. Jose is sadly not her tutor anymore but this was a very great experience and will be looking forward to using this company again for my daughter to get high grades and pass her GCSE’s thank you very much.

Excellent service, highly recommented Booked a block of Lessons leading up to my sons maths exam as maths was his weakest subject and he felt he wanted help. Pia (the tutor) was patient and professional and explained things in a way my son could easily understand. He looked forward to each lesson and felt the lessons gave him the confidence, knowledge and understanding he needed to face his maths GCSE exam. He thinks he did really well in his first exam and we are so pleased we invested in the lessons leading up to his GCSE’s. Can’t recommend Edumentors and Pia enough. Really professional service and well worth the money.

The tutoring times were really flexible and the tutor themselves (Izzy Mitchell) was amazing. The level of communication allowed between the student and tutor made it easy for my questions to be answered quickly. So thank you so much Edumentors and Izzy! Personally, I went from a 6 to a 9 in AQA English literature in just a few weeks so if you are thinking about it, give it a go!

Absolutely superb. Helped my son move from a predicted D in Maths to an actual A, in year. Highly recommend both Edumentors and specifically Apoorv as a tutor. It was easy to set-up, pay and manage. Any issues were solved quickly and without fuss.

Fantastic Flexible German Tutoring We had Imogen from Edumentor tutoring my daughter for GCSE’s. Imogen is a fantastic tutor and through the year prepared my daughter enabling her to get a 9 in German. Edumentor were extremely flexible and helpful in ensuring we could have the sessions when we needed them the most. I would throughly recommend using them for your GCSE tutoring.
