My tutoring style is highly interactive and question-based. I don’t believe in talking at students. Especially in subjects like Math, working through past paper questions is important, which is why I stress on this aspect very much during tutoring sessions. This helps me understand where they’re getting stuck and allows them to build confidence in their own reasoning rather than relying on answers being given to them. I’m very patient and adapt each session to the student’s pace, whether they need concepts broken down slowly or prefer to be challenged with more difficult questions. I’m also flexible in how I tutor — both in teaching style and scheduling. I understand that students have different routines and commitments, so I’m happy to adjust across days where possible to make learning consistent and manageable. My aim is to create a supportive, low-pressure environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, because that’s where real learning happens. At the time I was doing my A-levels, my college struggled to find a long-term Economics teacher.
