Hello, my name is Hafsah and I'm a recent graduate in Medical Genetics from Queen Mary University of London and I would love to be your tutor. Outside of tutoring I enjoy reading, painting and deepening my knowledge in biology. As a tutor with a passion for teaching I believe that confidence is a huge factor in attaining high grades as well as succeeding in life. Instilling self-confidence in a student is one of my main goals when tutoring a student as I believe it leads to love for learning. I also value curiosity in students and encourage my students to always ask questions. I have experience in tutoring students for GCSE in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics and A level Maths. I am familiar with the 11+ curriculum and I have teaching assistant experience with students at KS1-3 levels. Hello, my name is Ravija Singh! I am currently studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Physics at the University of Warwick. Having completed A Levels in Maths, Further Maths, and Physics, I have developed a strong understanding of these subjects and enjoy helping others build confidence and achieve success in them. Hello I'm Bismi and I'm a 3rd year Medical Student at the University of St. Andrews. I design my lessons by identifying areas of weakness and then delve further into those areas - therefore each lesson I design is unique to individual students as some students may struggle with not achieving the marks examiners are looking for, whilst others may struggle grasping certain concepts. Together, we'll tackle what you find challenging and develop effective strategies for mastering them. I am second year medicine student at University of Aberdeen. I started tutoring after my Scottish Higher exam and having 100 + hours of tutoring experience in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for Scottish National 5, Scottish higher and GCSE courses. I have obtained all A in my Scottish Nation 5(AAAAAAAA) , Scottish Higher (AAAAA)and Scottish Advanced Higher exam(AAA). I received offer from 3 med school. 4th one was not reject but I have withdrawn after receiving 3 offers. I focus on making strong foundation of the core of the subject by following course specification so that student can get the clear and strong understanding of the subject and eventually get confident on the subject matter. In addition to teaching Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, I do have experience of teaching Biology of National 5 and Human Biology of Scottish Higher. My personal approach is , initially to assess the student’s current level to identify the areas they are facing challenges and work on those areas to make them confident on all the subject areas. Once syllabus are covered, I will be focusing on practicing past paper and asses the score based on the marking scheme. During past paper practice, I will focus on each and every question students answer for. For all the mistakes, I will help them to understand the reason of the failure so that they can correct themselves instead I correct them directly.
