Hello! I’m Cee, a first year undergraduate philosophy student at UCL. Having very recently navigated GCSEs and A-levels myself (and come out the other side successfully ), I know how intense exams can be. No subject is enjoyable when it doesn’t make sense, so my aim is to break down those difficult concepts with you so that you can not only achieve the best grades you can, but also enjoy the process!
I’m Alanah, I study French and Russian at UCL, with A-levels in Maths, French and Latin. I have a year of tutoring experience, working with children in the age range of 9-18. I enjoy helping students to excel in their studies, help them to achieve their best possible result, as well as boost their academic confidence.
I have tutored French for a year at my previous school for students taking French GCSE. I am currently in my 1st year at Cambridge University where I am studying Modern and Medieval Languages (French and Latin). At A Level I got an A* in French, Latin and Maths and an A in Further Maths and at GCSE I got 11 9s and an 8.

GCSE French can become difficult when students are expected to use vocabulary confidently across speaking, listening, reading and writing at the same time. Many students understand topics in class but struggle to apply the language naturally under exam conditions.
This is often when families begin looking for more focused support. Some choose GCSE French tutors for subject-specific guidance, while others compare language support options such as a Spanish tutor GCSE or a GCSE German tutor when studying multiple languages. Families seeking local support may also explore French tutors in Leeds or experienced French tutors in Edmonton.
With different learning approaches available, it helps to understand what kind of support will make the biggest difference.
If you still need assistance, our support team is always available to answer your questions and help you choose the right tutor for your educational goals and learning needs.
