Hi my name is Lili Xu, I am currently studying in QMUL studying mathematics. I will be teaching mathematics and economics at GCSEs level. I am a very enthusiastic and passionate towards maths, and I hope i make my students enjoy maths as if they were fun activities, i will be aiming for students to feel the satisfaction when understanding a new concept and having it right. I also would love to make close relationships with my students and making the experience with me as enjoyable and relaxing. I am also very open to questions and supports to go through university and work experiences. I have had interview experiences and internships.

I am a UK home student who has offers from Imperial, UCL, King's College London, and City St George's. I have selected Imperial Medicine as my firm. I have had lots of experience teaching previously, both academically and non-academically, where I have taught chemistry to students at my school for a good part of 6 months, as well as teaching karate for over 3 years for classes of up to 50, at all age ranges. I make sure to personalise my content and lessons to the individual, for both struggling students and students who want to get ahead. I prescribe homework, suggest wider/extra/supporting reading material that has worked for me and many other students of varying capacity.

I am a third year student studying Law at the University of Cambridge. I achieved one A* and three As at Alevel in Economics, History, Religious Studies and Politics. At GCSE I achieved nine grade 9s and three grade 8s. I am a personable, energetic and passionate tutor with a passion for the subjects I teach. My name is Evelyn, and I am currently a second-year Chemistry student at UCL. I'm a highly experienced tutor, textbook writer, course designer and translator with over 11 years experience tutoring privately and through private and public schools, in person and online, in the UK and EU. I am a second-year LLB Law student at the University of Warwick, predicted a First Class degree. I achieved 10 Grade 9s at GCSE and ranked 1st in my A-Level English Language cohort with a 95% score. For the past three years I have worked as a qualified Swimming Instructor, teaching 30+ children weekly across all ages and ability levels. That experience taught me something no degree can: every student needs a different explanation, and your job as a teacher is to find it. That is exactly how I approach every subject I teach. I teach English Language at GCSE and A-Level, English Literature at IGCSE, History at IGCSE, and Economics at A-Level. Across every subject, my approach is the same: mark scheme mastery, structured note-taking systems, exam technique built from real experience, and live feedback on past papers. I do not teach students to memorise. I teach them to think like an examiner. I have seen firsthand what separates students who plateau at a Grade 6 from those who break through to Grade 9. The gap is almost never intelligence. It is method, and that is exactly what I provide.
