Hello, I am Alexander and I love Maths. More than that, I love helping other people love it too. I think of it as one big puzzle that anyone can learn to enjoy with the right teacher and enough time. How do I know this? I received an A* in Maths and an A in Further Maths at A levels. At GCSE I received a 9 and an 8 in Maths and Further Maths respectively. All this was because of the wonderful teachers and support staff that helped me get the support I needed. Recently I was diagnosed with ADHD and with 2 little brothers undergoing diagnosis I am very confident in helping SEN students by explaining the maths in ways that make sense to them, having found that teaching people by explaining using metaphor, analogy and direct example takes away a lot of the fear from the subject and helps people properly get their head around it. After all, if you take away the grades, maths is just puzzles and logic.

Hi! I'm Oscar, and I'm a third-year student at the University of Warwick studying Computer Science. Having been through the pressure of GCSEs, A-levels, and UCAS, I understand the pressures students face and have a relaxed yet careful approach to tutoring. This includes ensuring content is thoroughly understood through many examples and exam questions, as well as focusing on exam technique by utilising examiners' reports and mark schemes provided by exam boards to help students write the best answers possible.
