I was also awarded a perfect score in my EPQ which was based on American politics (particularly, the factors influencing presidential success). My name is Lucas. I have been a lifelong lover and student of the English language and achieved a 2:1 in English from UCL, graduating 2025. I remember my time both learning and teaching English at an A Level and IGCSE fondly. I believe these subjects to be integral to formulating a growing student's capacity to think critically and closely analyse the written and spoken word, which in this particular day and age is more important than anything and serves as a distinguishing factor between themselves and a growing proportion of the population struggling with literacy and critical reading independent of external tools.
