Hi! I’m a friendly, enthusiastic and academically driven tutor who is passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve their goals. I achieved an A* in A Level Politics, an A in A Level Geography, and Grade 9s in GCSE Religious Studies, Spanish, English Literature, English Language and Geography. Alongside my academic achievements, I have developed strong communication, debating and leadership skills through attending the international session of the European Youth Parliament and chairing several Model United Nations conferences. These experiences have strengthened my ability to explain ideas clearly, think critically and engage with different perspectives. Hi, my name is Christopher but I go by Kit. I'm an English Literature and Language student at Corpus Christi College Oxford. Hi! My name is Isabella and I am an Undergraduate student at the University of Manchester, studying Politics and International Relations and progressing into second year this September. I have a successful academic record, having achieved 3 A* in History, English Literature and Sociology A-Levels. However, this was not always the case; I had achieved a C in my first history mock in Year 12 and a B in my last mock before exams in Year 13. Yet, through targeting the topics and skills that were difficult for me, I was able to improve dramatically in History, gaining exam results that were amongst the top 5 students in my year group of 139. The drastic improvements I made in History also taught me how to effectively revise for English and Sociology too. My name is Ananya, I am a first year Law student and have a passion for helping students overcome their academic obstacles! I have formally tutored students aged 4-16 in Maths and English, and with the diversity in ages, I learnt the importance of viewing students as individuals, by understanding their specific strengths and weaknesses in order to best tailor a session to further their understanding. Hi there, my name is Lukas. I am 25 years old and a graduated master's student from Oxford University, specialising in Renaissance literature at St. Hilda's College. I previously studied at St. Catherine's in Oxford where I completed an undergraduate English Literature degree. I achieved a high merit in my MA and a high 2.1 in my undergraduate degree. I began tutoring during my studies and have used it to supplement my income as a SEN specialist education worker. I have over one hundred hours of experience with online tutoring and have a few years of backed up resources for English Literature and English Language across AQA, OCR, EDUQAS, Edexcel exam boards, for both GCSE and A Level. I’m Brontë, a graduate of the London School of Economics and the University of Oxford, where I completed an MPP at the Blavatnik School of Government as a Political Leadership Scholar. I am now completing my Graduate Diploma in Law before training as a barrister, having been awarded Middle Temple’s Diplock Scholarship. I have been tutoring English since I was 17 and have worked with pupils across a wide range of ages and abilities, including A-level, GCSE and Year 8 students. I have taught both English Literature and Language, and have supported students with different learning needs, including dyslexia, dyspraxia and ADHD.
