I've been tutoring for over two years, working with students across Maths, English Language & Literature, French, Spanish and Geography. I've taught learners at different levels and stages, and I tailor my approach depending on what each subject and each student actually needs. I am a devoted educator committed to supporting others as they aim to achieve their potential. My colourful educational and professional background places me in an ideal position to help others understand complex information. I was born in Oldham, Manchester but grew up in Leicester in the East Midlands where I attended primary and secondary school, sixth-form, and university. I excelled at secondary school but found it tough at sixth-form, although I didn't help myself by picking five subjects in the first year: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, and Further Maths. After attending sixth-form, I studied on a MPhys Physics with Astrophysics degree at the University of Leicester and graduated in 2017. I then completed my PhD in Physics at the same university before becoming a STEM Teaching Fellow in the physics department. My area of research was/is planetary science and I study the interaction of Saturn's atmosphere and its aurorae. During my PhD, I was very fortunate to get the opportunity to travel to Hawaii, USA and Sendai, Japan for telescope observing and an international conference, respectively. I have previously worked at both the National Space Centre in Leicester and the Royal Observatory Greenwich in London. Both roles were public-facing and I interacted with visiting members of the public. In my current role I teach mathematics to foundation year students at the University of Leicester which includes lecturing, setting and marking exams, and 1-to-1 tutoring.

I am second year medicine student at University of Aberdeen. I started tutoring after my Scottish Higher exam and having 100 + hours of tutoring experience in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for Scottish National 5, Scottish higher and GCSE courses. I have obtained all A in my Scottish Nation 5(AAAAAAAA) , Scottish Higher (AAAAA)and Scottish Advanced Higher exam(AAA). I received offer from 3 med school. 4th one was not reject but I have withdrawn after receiving 3 offers. I focus on making strong foundation of the core of the subject by following course specification so that student can get the clear and strong understanding of the subject and eventually get confident on the subject matter. In addition to teaching Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, I do have experience of teaching Biology of National 5 and Human Biology of Scottish Higher. My personal approach is , initially to assess the student’s current level to identify the areas they are facing challenges and work on those areas to make them confident on all the subject areas. Once syllabus are covered, I will be focusing on practicing past paper and asses the score based on the marking scheme. During past paper practice, I will focus on each and every question students answer for. For all the mistakes, I will help them to understand the reason of the failure so that they can correct themselves instead I correct them directly.
