I am a 4th year Engineering student at the University of Bath. My aim is for my students to gain a comprehensive understanding of their subject and the confidence to tackle any exam question they may face. I have tutored younger students in peer mentoring programs throughout secondary school and sixth form, primarily in physics and computer science.

I am Ibrahim Sillah, incoming third year student at the University of Leeds, studying Electronic and Electrical Engineering. I achieved high 1st classes in both my first and second year of university and will be carrying that momentum into my third and fourth year. I studied maths, physics and chemistry at A-Levels and obtained A*A*A respectively and for my IGCSE, I studied 9 subjects and got 6A*s, 2As and a B. I have been tutoring for about 3-4 years now, predominantly in maths for GCSE, IGCSE and A-Level students as well as further maths for GCSE and IGCSE students. These have all been success stories as my approach ensures students wants and needs, high-quality delivery depending on the student in need. As hobbies, I play football regularly and informally tutor my younger brother in his academic ventures.

Hi! My name is Josh. I'm a third-year medical student at Birmingham University, and I focus on tutoring GCSE Biology, Chemistry, and Physics — subjects I’m deeply passionate about and in which I achieved A* grades at A level and Grade 9s at GCSE. My teaching approach is fully student-centred. I believe that every learner is different, so I work with each student to understand how they learn best, adapting my teaching style to suit their individual needs. Whether a student is looking to build confidence, bridge knowledge gaps, or push towards top grades, I provide a structured, supportive approach to help them reach their goals. I have experience working with children in a primary school setting, which has taught me how important it is to create an engaging and encouraging learning environment. I always aim to make lessons accessible and enjoyable, while building a strong foundation in scientific thinking. As a medical student with a strong academic background, I’m well-equipped to explain challenging concepts in a clear and relatable way. I also remember the jump from GCSE to A level and am happy to provide guidance and study techniques to help ease that transition for students who want to get ahead.

Hi! My name is Yaara, I am passionate about science and the natural world. I tutor A-Level Biology, Maths and Physics, as well as GCSE Combined & Triple Science and Maths. I want to share my passion for science, helping students develop their understanding and excel (whether or not they pursue science in their future). I am starting a Research Masters at Durham University after graduating with a BSc in Natural Sciences at the same university, with a 2:1 overall. I achieved A* in Biology, Maths, and Physics A-Levels and an A in Psychology. Whether a student needs just a little push to achieve their target grade or help to build the basic foundations, I am more than happy to adapt my teaching to their individual needs. Hi! I’m Kyla, a 4th-year medical student with a passion for helping students actually understand science and math without the stress. Having gone through the academic ringer myself—from Triple Science at GCSE to tackling Physics, Maths, and Chemistry at A-Level—I know firsthand how overwhelming these subjects can feel when you’re staring at a hefty textbook. Now, four years into medical school, I use those exact same foundational skills every single day. My approach to tutoring is simple: no robotic memorization and no rigid lectures. Having spent years learning complex topics quickly, I specialise in taking intimidating concepts and translating them into plain, everyday English. I focus on building real problem-solving confidence and teaching exam techniques that actually work. Because I’m actively studying medicine, my schedule is focused, but it also means my own study habits and exam strategies are sharp and up to date. I get the pressure students are under, and my goal is to be a supportive, approachable mentor who makes learning feel manageable (and maybe even a little fun). Whether you’re gearing up for GCSEs, pushing for top grades in A-Levels, or just trying to keep your head above water in science, I’d love to help you reach your goals. Drop me a message and let's chat about what you're looking for!
