Hi! I’m Noor, a Civil Engineering student at the University of Manchester with a strong passion for mathematics and problem-solving. Through my degree, I use mathematics regularly in areas such as mechanics, structural analysis and engineering design, which has helped me develop a strong understanding of how mathematical concepts can be applied to real-world problems. I understand that Maths can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially at GCSE and A-level, so my aim is to make difficult topics feel much more manageable. I’m a fifth-year medical student at Imperial College London with over 350 hours of tutoring experience across the past five years. I am a Biomedical Engineering student at King's College London. I graduated from the French International School of Hong Kong, where I completed both the IB Diploma and IGCSEs. I achieved a score of 40/45 in the IB and earned 8 A grades and 2 A* grades in my IGCSEs. My IGCSE subjects included Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Computer Science, English Literature, English Language, Mathematics, and Further Mathematics. I have 3 years of tutoring experience, specialising in programming, 3D design, and STEM subjects. During this time, I have tutored more than a dozen IGCSE students in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, as well as supporting over three KS3 students in English. Hello! I’m Koby and am an honours graduate from the University of Cambridge with a background in natural sciences and medicine. Understanding a topic is one thing but understanding what the examiners are looking for can sometimes be a whole other issue.
