I am an IBDP graduate and current Architecture student at the University of Manchester. During the IB, I received best in class awards in English Literature and Design Technology. I know that grasping these more abstract subjects can feel tricky. But, by combining both analytical and creative teaching, I can help students gain confidence in working through and articulating complex ideas in a supportive, individualised environment.

I achieved an A in both Maths and Economics at A-Level, a B in Psychology, and high grades (7–9) across my GCSEs. I have had a strong passion for maths from a young age and have enjoyed tutoring friends during exam periods as well as supporting my younger sister with her studies. I am currently studying Business and Economics at university, which has further developed my interest in these subjects, and I would enjoy teaching them just as much as I enjoy learning them.

I started my tutoring journey by setting up my own online tutoring company, beginning with just one client. At first, it was challenging — I had to figure out how to attract students, manage lessons, and keep everything running smoothly. There were setbacks along the way, but by staying persistent and focusing on delivering real results for students, things began to turn around. Word of mouth and positive feedback helped me grow from that single client into a much larger base, and what started as a small idea developed into a successful and rewarding venture.

I’m a Biomedical Science graduate with First Class Honours and a current Medical Student with a strong understanding of the national curriculum. I tutor GCSE and A-Level Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, focusing on confidence, understanding, and exam technique. My lessons are engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. Outside of studying, I love baking and being creative!

I am a student at the University of Oxford studying Japanese. I achieved all A*s and As in my Japanese, Religious Studies, and Latin A-Levels, as well as in all of my GCSEs. My particular area of interest is religion in Classical Japan, combining my background in religious studies, Classical history, and Japanese. At the University of Oxford, I sing as a Choral Scholar at The Queen's College, where I perform in concerts and services around the world. Beyond my passion for singing, I love playing the piano and the trombone. I have taught Japanese, Religious Studies, Latin and singing to children and adults of all ages for over 3 years, and I am experienced in supporting students of all levels with independent study. I was home-educated myself and self-studied for all my academic qualifications. I tutor a wide range of subjects beyond these, and my students have all received top grades at GCSE and A-level. I’m a passionate and active educator who loves teaching and providing children with extra help that would not be available in your traditional classroom. I have worked with SEN children for over a year and have experience with Autism and ADHD learners. Focusing on making lessons engaging and interesting whilst also ensuring the work challenges students to think deeper, allows me to fully personalise the lessons so students are able to work at THEIR own optimal level.

Hi! I am a BSc Economics graduate from the University of Manchester with experience teaching Economics, Maths and English to students who want lessons explained clearly and practically. I grew up in Japan following the British curriculum. I've been both an underperforming student and high acheiving one, so I know what change is required for high performance. Having achieved an A* in A-level maths and continued with quantitative subjects in university, I am confident in my ability to improve my students' ability by at lest 2 levels over a couple of months. I have worked in finance, sales and, more relevantly, education, with now over 300 hours of private 1-to-1 tutoring experience. I did most of it in Japan, tutoring second-language English speakers rather than native speakers. This forced me to be able to explain complicated concepts - according to the student’s age – in a very concise and easy-to-understand manner, irrespective of the students' natural ability. My technique involves building a relationship with the student, grow love in their mind for the subject, and foster excitement to want to teach the same things they learnt. I can’t begin to tell you the difference in processing speed between students who are taught to love the subject and those who aren’t. We are wired to think success comes largely from intelligence and hard work; however, people often neglect the impact of passion.
