In terms of qualifications, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Birkbeck, University of London, in 2015, followed by my Postgraduate Diploma in Education and Leadership (PGDE) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in 2021 and 2022. But my journey in science started well before that. As a student, I explored fascinating areas of biology through internships at top institutions like Cambridge, UCL, and the University of Münster. One of my proudest moments was as part of Birkbeck’s very first iGEM team in 2015.
