Find Your Perfect Physics Tutor In Edmonton

Hi, my name is Jago! I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security at the University of Warwick. My teaching approach is highly adaptable—I appreciate that every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to meet each individual's needs and focus on their areas of weakness to help build confidence and achieve lasting improvement. I offer tutoring in Maths, Physics, and Computer Science up to GCSE level—subjects in which I achieved top grades, securing grade 9s at GCSE and A grades at A level. I've been informally tutoring for around three years and have developed a solid foundation of tutoring experience. During that time, I’ve helped students make meaningful progress toward their goals. Most notably, I helped two students improve their GCSE Maths grades from predicted 7s to 9s and supported another in earning an academic scholarship to his school of choice. These achievements reflect the value of targeted, student-focused learning. My background in these subjects allows me to break down complex ideas in a logical and accessible way, helping students develop both understanding and confidence. I understand the academic pressures students face and aim to create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. Whether it's reinforcing foundational concepts or preparing for exams, I'm committed to helping students reach their potential and achieve the results they’re aiming for.

My name is Samara and I have recently completed A levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and an EPQ. I look forward to working together with your child to help them to achieve their full potential and having tutored for GCSE chemistry for two years throughout sixth form, I know how important it is to have the right support to achieve their dream grades. I also have a particular passion for the sciences, particularly biology and chemistry which I would love to be able to pass on to the students that I tutor. I have achieved seven grade 8s and 2 grade 9s at GCSE with a 9 in GCSE Chemistry and an 8 in both GCSE Biology and Physics. As someone who has been through GCSEs and tutored as well, I have been able to help effectively prepare students to achieve their target grades; one of my tutees went from a grade 6 to a grade 8 in the final exams. I look forward to being able to work with your child to help them to achieve the grades that they are more than capable of getting.

Hi my name's Zain, I study Medical Biosciences at Imperial College London. I received an A* in Chemistry at A level, and I got 9 9’s and 2 8’s at GCSE. From first-hand experience I know what it takes to get that A* or that 9 in a STEM subject from whatever level you are at. I resonate with the fear and anxiety students may experience when their hardwork isn’t paying off in their exams but with enough time with me I can assure you that I will get you to achieve that top grade and build your confidence in that subject. Previously, I tutored a student who before me was consistently achieving 3s and 4s in Chemistry IGCSE and in his final grade achieved a strong 9 in IGCSE Chemistry. My formula is to aid you in mastering the understanding of content and then perfecting your exam technique. By following this process you will not only become better at your subject but also feel much more confident about your exams. For A level Chemistry I have also created a concise and simplified notebook for all topics which students have used before to master their content and has helped them achieve an A* in their final exam. I received 5/5 UCAS offers from universities like Cambridge and UCL, and so I can help guide university applications to secure offers from top universities.

I adapt my lessons to suit different learning styles, whether you prefer visual explanations, step-by-step problem solving, or practice through exam-style questions. My lessons are structured but flexible, and I always make sure you leave each session with more confidence than when you started. I am familiar with most of the major exam boards including AQA, EDEXEL and OCR. At a levels I studied Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Product Design and Italian. I completed a 2 year long industry placement, gaining real-wold engineering experience and applying what I learnt in a professional setting. This has strengthened my understanding of how maths and physics are used outside the classroom.

Hi there, my name is Vidura. I am a second year medical student studying at Cardiff University. I achieved 4 high scoring A*s in A level Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics and am very passionate about sharing my knowledge with others to help them achieve their full potential. With one year of formal tutoring experience, I've helped students build confidence, master challenging concepts, and improve their exam performance. With regards to my teaching style, I teach in a flexible format prioritising the development of concepts rather than facts. I make sure that a student fully understands the underlying concepts of every single topic before offering them the opportunity to apply those concepts in past paper questions. This will not only help the student grasp the key ideologies behind the subject, but also to apply it in an exam situation to arrive at a correct conclusion. It will also allow the student to develop exam techniques as well as knowledge because only a delicate balance between the two can allow a student to achieve high grades. My goal is not only to help improve a student's exam performance but also to inspire a genuine appreciation for the subject they choose to study with me, which ultimately makes learning enjoyable as well as rewarding

In addition to teaching Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, I do have experience of teaching Biology of National 5 and Human Biology of Scottish Higher. Once syllabus are covered, I will be focusing on practicing past paper and asses the score based on the marking scheme. During past paper practice, I will focus on each and every question students answer for. For all the mistakes, I will help them to understand the reason of the failure so that they can correct themselves instead I correct them directly.
