Hello! I’m Eva, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at the University of Liverpool. My academic background includes top grades in A-level Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Physics, as well as 11 GCSEs at grade 7 and above. I have extensive teaching experience at one of the highest-performing Kumon centres in Europe and Africa. For context, Kumon is a structured learning program that develops strong foundations in mathematics and English through individualized practice and guidance. At Kumon, I’ve worked with students aged 3 to 18, including those with learning differences such as dyscalculia, and others excelling well beyond their grade level. My responsibilities included one-on-one tutoring, planning and leading a weekly GCSE maths class, running occasional online Zoom sessions, and providing private tutoring. My teaching approach is enthusiastic and nurturing, yet goal-oriented. I adapt my methods to each student’s individual needs and set achievable targets to help them reach their academic goals. Hi my name is Minna. I love to teach and help others of all ages to understand topics they do not understand. I previously worked at a tuition centre where I helped kids up to the age of 13 with English and Maths, and was praised by many in those sessions and in my private tutoring sessions for my methods of teaching and communication with my students. I took Maths for A Level and also study a course with a lot of mathematical skills involved. I’ve always had a passion for maths and so I thoroughly enjoy helping others to improve their skills as well.

My lessons are aimed to be tailored to each individual student! I like to ask the students if there are any specific areas to focus on, whilst covering the whole syllabus. I often start with a fun starter to recap last lesson, moving onto the lesson where I share my screen to show my working, so that students understand my approach clearly. I will do my own question and work through questions I give students aswell as past papers to really consolidate knowledge. I like to set regular homework, believing practise is the best way to learn. I have experience in tutoring lots of secondary school students. I have 3 Maths GCSEs, achieving a 5 in Foundation Maths when I was only 11, achieving and 8s in both Higher and Further Maths when I was 16. I study Natural Sciences at University of Exeter, which consists of Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Computer Science. I balance my commitment to my studies with my love for sport. I offer Spanish, French and Polish from beginner to A Level standard, English as a Foregin Language, and early years to KS3 Mathematics.
