Find Your Perfect Maths Tutor In Edmonton

I am currently studying for an MEng in Computing at Imperial College London, one of the UK’s leading universities for STEM. I have a strong academic background, having achieved 10 grade 9s at GCSE and 3 A*s and one A at A-level, including in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Computer Science. Alongside my studies, I am passionate about education and have over three years of experience tutoring GCSE students in Maths, Physics, and Computer Science. I also founded a Coding Club at my school during sixth form, where I mentored students from Years 7 to 11 and helped spark their interest in programming. My teaching style is patient, adaptable, and focused on building both confidence and deep understanding in my students. I genuinely enjoy helping others achieve their academic goals and develop a positive attitude towards learning.

I'm a passionate tutor specialising in A-Level Law (OCR) and GCSE Maths (Edexcel, AQA & OCR), with over 2 years of tutoring experience. Having achieved an A* in A-Level Law, including full marks on exam papers, I know exactly what examiners are looking for and how to help students achieve their desired grade. For GCSE Maths, I tailor sessions to each student's board and learning style, building both confidence and understanding. I like to let students lead the sessions, whether that's working through something they're stuck on, tackling past paper questions, or revisiting a tricky topic. I'm also happy to offer a bit of support outside of sessions, such as marking work or answering questions you might have between lessons, so you're never left stuck for long. I can also give personal statement advice to any Year 12/13 students applying to university, I received offers from top London Universities like UCL, LSE and KCL Whether you're looking to plug gaps, improve exam technique, or push for top grades, feel free to book a session, I'd love to help!

Hi, I’m Lewis. I am a third-year Actuarial Science student at the University of York with a strong passion for problem-solving and critical thinking. More importantly, I am dedicated to helping students unlock their academic potential. For me, the most rewarding part of tutoring is facilitating that "lightbulb moment" where a challenging concept suddenly becomes clear and manageable. Advanced mathematics can feel overwhelming, but I specialize in breaking down intricate theories into simple, digestible steps. Having regularly presented complex mathematical principles to university audiences of up to 80 people, I know how to keep concepts engaging and clear. Because I have recently navigated GCSEs and A-Levels myself, my knowledge of exam boards, revision strategies, and time-management techniques is fresh and highly relevant. I don't just teach the material—I teach how to tackle the exam, sharing the exact study habits and resources that got me to a top university. When I'm not studying or tutoring, I am heavily involved in collaborative projects, including a university investment fund. I also love composing music on the guitar and piano, and spend much of my free time bouldering and climbing.

I am a UK home student who has offers from Imperial, UCL, King's College London, and City St George's. I have selected Imperial Medicine as my firm. I have had lots of experience teaching previously, both academically and non-academically, where I have taught chemistry to students at my school for a good part of 6 months, as well as teaching karate for over 3 years for classes of up to 50, at all age ranges. I make sure to personalise my content and lessons to the individual, for both struggling students and students who want to get ahead. I prescribe homework, suggest wider/extra/supporting reading material that has worked for me and many other students of varying capacity.

Achieved A*A*A* in A level Biology, Chemistry and Maths and studying Medicine at King's College London. 1 year formal teaching and 5 years informal teaching experience. I'm a compassionate and thoughtful teacher who puts the students' understanding of content, mechanisms behind why a topic is being taught and exam technique at the forefront of my teaching style and approach. Whether it is taking things slowly step-by-step or giving guidance while teaching through practice questions, I strive to ensure each student is uniquly taken care of to maximise their learning and build confidence.

I am a third-year student at the University of Nottingham, currently studying Computer Science. My academic journey began with strong achievements at the GCSE level, where I earned a 9 in Maths, English Language, and Computer Science, followed by an A in A-level Maths. Alongside my passion for technology, I love to read, which helps broaden my understanding of various topics. I'm also enthusiastic about helping others, whether through tutoring or offering support, as I find joy in making a positive impact on those around me.

Hi, my name is Marcia. I'm 21 and a masters student at Edinburgh University. I am committed to helping students achieve their studying goals. I am aware that all students learn differently so I will tailor my sessions to suit their needs. I have previously tutored GCSE students in Maths and Physics. I enjoy hiking, reading and listening to music in my spare time!

Hi! I’m Kyla, a 4th-year medical student with a passion for helping students actually understand science and math without the stress. Having gone through the academic ringer myself—from Triple Science at GCSE to tackling Physics, Maths, and Chemistry at A-Level—I know firsthand how overwhelming these subjects can feel when you’re staring at a hefty textbook. Now, four years into medical school, I use those exact same foundational skills every single day. My approach to tutoring is simple: no robotic memorization and no rigid lectures. Having spent years learning complex topics quickly, I specialise in taking intimidating concepts and translating them into plain, everyday English. I focus on building real problem-solving confidence and teaching exam techniques that actually work. Because I’m actively studying medicine, my schedule is focused, but it also means my own study habits and exam strategies are sharp and up to date. I get the pressure students are under, and my goal is to be a supportive, approachable mentor who makes learning feel manageable (and maybe even a little fun). Whether you’re gearing up for GCSEs, pushing for top grades in A-Levels, or just trying to keep your head above water in science, I’d love to help you reach your goals. Drop me a message and let's chat about what you're looking for!
