Hi There! I'm Zoya and I was Head Girl at St. Dominic's Sixth Form College. During my time I consistently worked as a bridge between peers and the teaching staff/Governing body of the sixth form. I networked with politicians, dentists, doctors and set up opportunities such as Hustings events or talks with peers of the House of Lords to assist my peers, and would love to continue to do the same. At A-Level I achieved A* (English Literature), A (Law) and B (Politics), the subject I am currently studying at University Level. I have experience tutoring my peers from as young as year 4, and have always been a reliable choice for explaining concepts well and more. I know what it's like to feel lost in the classroom and unsure of how to ask, so knowing that my tutoring style would be welcoming to all questions, with the aim of being clear and flexible with my pace. I did receive an offer from Trinity College, Cambridge and would love to additionally help others on their UCAS journey's with personal statements, applications and interview practise. I fully understand the pressure of it all and would hope to be a friendly but firm ally during that time for another prospective Oxbridge student. I enjoy tutoring above all and I feel that's something that would shine through during sessions. I would be a punctual, flexible and reliable candidate, over-prepared for all sessions and enthusiastic. Thank you for taking the time to consider me!

Hi, I’m Syenna, a UCL medical student with a passion for helping students not just improve academically, but truly believe in their own potential. I’ve been tutoring for over 5 years, supporting students of all ages to move up sets, strengthen their understanding, and achieve top grades in their exams. One of the most rewarding parts of tutoring for me is seeing confidence grow. Academically, I achieved mostly 8s and 9s at GCSE, followed by straight A grades across 4 A-levels. I also scored in the top 10% of the BMAT, securing my place to study Medicine at UCL. Alongside my medical degree, I’m also undertaking the highly competitive Bachelor’s in Surgical Sciences, which reflects both my work ethic and my commitment to excellence. Beyond subject tutoring, I also offer support with: Interview preparation (including medical school interviews) Personal statement coaching University application guidance My medical background means I’m organised, patient, and skilled at breaking down tricky topics into simple, digestible steps. I always take the time to understand how each child learns best, and I adapt my teaching style to suit them, whether they need gentle encouragement, clear step-by-step guidance, or a boost in confidence. Most importantly, I create an environment where children feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow at their own pace. You can rely on me to be consistent, professional, and fully invested in your child’s progress every single week. If you’re looking for a tutor who is caring, dependable, and dedicated to helping your child thrive — I’d love to support your family.

Hello, My name is Pia, and I am currently a second-year student studying Economics and Management at King’s College London. Studying Mathematics, Economics, and English Literature and an EPQ at A Level piqued my interest in dynamic current affairs. Consequently, I am interested in starting my career in Global Markets. I have recently received a Summer Internship Offer from Barclays Investment Bank and have successfully completed Spring Weeks at Goldman Sachs, Bank of America and Rothschild & Co. I have also completed a summer internship at Rolls Royce in my first year of university. My desire to tutor students was catalysed by my role as chair of the Junior Debating Society at school; I was challenged to understand my students’ capabilities and implement strategies to maximise their success at regional debating competitions. I have followed this interest to university, where I successfully applied for Debate-mate, a non-profit organisation. As a mentor, I teach debating to children from underprivileged backgrounds in schools around London. As a tutor at Edumentors, not only do I aim to support students for upcoming exams. I also desire to provide a holistic approach to development, coaching students through the university application process while intensifying their enthusiasm for their chosen subjects. With over 200 bookings and nearly three years of tutoring experience, I am committed to contributing to the future success of my students. As your tutor, I will tailor your sessions to your goals, concerns and critical topics. I will provide bespoke lesson plans leveraging content-based and exam-style strategies to maximise your educational outcome. Very big improvement given a short period of time with only a small time period of about 3 months my daughter in year 10 has gone from a level U to a level 4 in her maths grade with her tutor Jose. He is a very good maths teacher and has very easy ways of doing hard GCSE maths. What my daughter used to find immensely hard is now very easy. Jose is sadly not her tutor anymore but this was a very great experience and will be looking forward to using this company again for my daughter to get high grades and pass her GCSE’s thank you very much.

Excellent service, highly recommented Booked a block of Lessons leading up to my sons maths exam as maths was his weakest subject and he felt he wanted help. Pia (the tutor) was patient and professional and explained things in a way my son could easily understand. He looked forward to each lesson and felt the lessons gave him the confidence, knowledge and understanding he needed to face his maths GCSE exam. He thinks he did really well in his first exam and we are so pleased we invested in the lessons leading up to his GCSE’s. Can’t recommend Edumentors and Pia enough. Really professional service and well worth the money.

The tutoring times were really flexible and the tutor themselves (Izzy Mitchell) was amazing. The level of communication allowed between the student and tutor made it easy for my questions to be answered quickly. So thank you so much Edumentors and Izzy! Personally, I went from a 6 to a 9 in AQA English literature in just a few weeks so if you are thinking about it, give it a go!

Absolutely superb. Helped my son move from a predicted D in Maths to an actual A, in year. Highly recommend both Edumentors and specifically Apoorv as a tutor. It was easy to set-up, pay and manage. Any issues were solved quickly and without fuss.

Fantastic Flexible German Tutoring We had Imogen from Edumentor tutoring my daughter for GCSE’s. Imogen is a fantastic tutor and through the year prepared my daughter enabling her to get a 9 in German. Edumentor were extremely flexible and helpful in ensuring we could have the sessions when we needed them the most. I would throughly recommend using them for your GCSE tutoring.
