Hi There! I'm Zoya and I was Head Girl at St. Dominic's Sixth Form College. During my time I consistently worked as a bridge between peers and the teaching staff/Governing body of the sixth form. I networked with politicians, dentists, doctors and set up opportunities such as Hustings events or talks with peers of the House of Lords to assist my peers, and would love to continue to do the same. At A-Level I achieved A* (English Literature), A (Law) and B (Politics), the subject I am currently studying at University Level. Hi, I’m Larissa! I’m a naturally chatty, friendly and supportive person who loves helping students feel more confident in their abilities. For me, tutoring is about helping students work towards the grades they’re aiming for while also building their understanding, confidence and enjoyment of the subject. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and find an approach that works best for them. I’ve supported younger students during sixth form as well as tutoring my younger brother and family friends’ children. One of the things I’ve really enjoyed is seeing students become more confident as they start to understand a topic that they initially found difficult. Being able to make that difference is a big part of why I love tutoring. Academically, I achieved an A* in English Literature and Language A Level, an A in Psychology and Grade 8s in the GCSE subjects I tutor.
