Hello! My name is Saleena, and I am a first year Physics with Theoretical Physics student at Imperial College London. I have previous experience in tutoring Maths and English and I am very passionate about teaching! I believe that a gentle but effective approach to tutoring is best, by increasing first understanding and then practice. My academic journey has gone from having a passion for the law to studying physics, so I have lots of experience in honing skills in different subjects! Additionally, I have achieved 8 9s and 2 8s in my GCSES and A*A*A in Maths, Further Maths and Physics A Levels, so I have a fairly good grasp on how to improve exam technique. Hi there! I am Talia. I am here to be the tutor that I never had. I believe that English GCSE teaching has become too depersonalised and formulaic, simply because it must serve thirty students in a classroom at once. Whilst we understand the reality of why schools teach in this way, my tutoring style works to meet the needs of the student in front of me. This is why my sessions are based on targeting areas of difficulty for a student, whatever your child finds difficult about this subject, we’ll work together to overcome it through specialised activities and exercises. My name is Susanna, and I am a kind, empathetic, and enthusiastic academic and writer. I recently completed my postgraduate (MSt) degree at the University of Oxford. During my time at Oxford, I studied Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, and I specialised in English Literature. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of my MSt, I also have extensive knowledge of history, sociology, art history, critical theory, and analytical thinking.
