Hi, my name is Max and I am a recent Human, Social and Political Sciences graduate at the University of Cambridge. I am confident in tutoring a vast array of subjects at IB, A Level, GCSE and KS3 levels. This is not only in relation to set texts, but sometimes I have found it rewarding for the student (depending on their ability) to discuss texts beyond the curriculum to challenge them further (especially in English Language lessons) Overall, my approach to teaching is professional, approachable, engaging, and I seek to tailor my teaching methods for the needs of each student. Part of this is my in-depth knowledge of exam-boards such as AQA and Edexcel, meaning I can tailor tutoring lessons to each board respectively, and ensure I cover the required content in-depth. Now that I have graduated, I am also very flexible regarding scheduling, meaning I am available for as many or as little sessions as you need me for. This will be the case until the start of next year, meaning I can offer long-term tutoring support. Hi, I’m Alfie — a recent Classics graduate from the University of Manchester with a deep love of language, literature, and big ideas. I tutor in Latin, Ancient Greek, English, and Religious Studies. I studied Latin at both GCSE and A-Level (achieving an A in each), before reading Classics at the University of Manchester, where I graduated with a 2:1. At university, I focused heavily on mastering Classical Languages — Latin and Ancient Greek — and even studied at the Novum Vivarium in Rome, a renowned school where all instruction is delivered entirely in spoken Latin. Alongside my language studies, I developed a strong interest in the cultural, literary, and philosophical dimensions of the ancient world — interests which naturally extend into English and Religious Studies.
