I am a third-year Biochemistry Msci student at the University of Manchester with three years of experience tutoring GCSE students. My approach focuses on building a strong understanding of the subject content while also developing effective exam technique, which is essential for achieving top grades. Each session is tailored to the individual student, helping them apply their knowledge confidently across a variety of exam-style questions. I am passionate about making science and maths engaging and relatable. I incorporate real-world examples to spark interest and help students see the relevance of what they’re learning. I also ensure students understand the different contexts in which a topic may appear on an exam and the range of question types they might encounter, helping them feel fully prepared. To support learning outside of lessons, I can provide optional worksheets based on the material we've covered. These can be marked and reviewed at the start of the following session if the student or parent wishes. Outside of tutoring and academics, I enjoy playing the clarinet, saxophone and flute, as well as expressing myself through visual art.

I am a driven and enthusiastic 5th year medical student at Trinity College, Cambridge. I possess a passion for the sciences how their various intricate interconnections can untangle and explain the world around us. I enjoy teaching, I enjoy the satisfaction in explaining a concept to an eager and willing student and seeing the understanding on their faces as they realise what was eluding them thus far. I appreciate that many students are often misunderstood and often require a more personal approach than the generalised and group approach in schools which is why they begin to excel once they start tutoring.

Hey guys! I’m Kirti, an A-level tutor in Maths, Biology and Chemistry, and a medical student myself specialising in the Medicine application process, so I know first-hand what these subjects demand. I focus on building genuine understanding rather than memorising for the exam, breaking technique down step-by-step around the mark scheme and where marks are usually lost. That way you understand the thought process behind answering a question and are equipped for any curveballs the exam boards throw at you. I bring topics to life with real examples and interactive tools to keep sessions engaging. Friendly, approachable and patient, I ensure every student leaves more confident than they arrived.
