Hello! I’m Koby and am a 3rd year medical student at the University of Cambridge. With over 5 years of tutoring experience, I focus on a holistic, engaging and student-centric approach to teaching, whilst sharing my passion and love for learning! Understanding a topic is one thing but understanding what the examiners are looking for can sometimes be a whole other issue. Using my experience, I tailor my lessons to the student’s needs to help them achieve both, whilst utilising my extensive bank of exam questions to guide the student with worked examples and build their confidence. I also share effective learning strategies and tips that make learning enjoyable and easier. This has helped many of my students achieve top grades and personally helped me achieve 10A*’s at (I)GCSE and 4A*’s at A-Level/Pre-U in Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Biology. Hence, I specialise in teaching these subjects for students of all levels and ages. As well as cracking the code to exam technique, I am happy to mentor students applying for Medicine or Oxbridge. I am confident I can make a difference having excelled in the UCAT and BMAT admissions exams as well as acing interviews in an empathetic and charismatic manner in order to receive medical school offers from Cambridge, Imperial, Keele and Cardiff. In my free time, I am an avid chess player (9x British Chess Champion who has represented England in the World Youth Championships) and sports and music enthusiast.
