My name is Lisa. I am a 1st year University of Cambridge Modern & Medieval Languages (French & German) Undergraduate student with a keen interest in literature (both foreign and English) and economics (mainly financial markets). I studied Economics, French, German and Russian at A-level and really enjoyed this combination. I am an avid reader, a travel enthusiast and a passionate linguist. I have taught many subjects at GCSE level in the past, however, I now prefer to specialise in teaching English and foreign languages, more precisely French and German, as well as Economics, for students of any age and level. Hello, My name is Pia, and I am currently a first-year student studying Economics and Management at King’s College London. Studying Mathematics, Economics, and English Literature and an EPQ at A Level piqued my interest in dynamic current affairs. Consequently, I am interested in starting my career in Global Markets and have recently received Spring Week offers from both Bank of America and Rothschild & co. My desire to tutor students was catalysed by my role as chair of the Junior Debating society at school; I was challenged to understand my students’ capabilities and implement strategies to maximise their success at regional debating competitions. I have followed this interest to university, where I was successful in my application for Debate-mate, a non profit organisation.
