I have been tutoring for 2 years with a mixture of online and in-person tutoring. I am currently tutoring at GCSE, A level and Common Entrance (11+ and 13+) levels. I thoroughly enjoy tutoring and watching students become more confident and motivated in their studies through understanding the material and answering questions. I take different approaches to lessons depending on the need of the child. With some I teach the whole syllabus from start to finish, others students have specific topics they would like to go through and some solely want exam practice. Alongside my studies, I have gained over three years of experience as a tutor. I am a fourth-year medical student at the University of Cambridge with a passion for tutoring! As well as academics I can tutor for personal statement and university prep, including medical school admissions testing and mock interviews.

I am an aspiring doctor and enthusiastic learner. I have experience of teaching pupils from different age groups and abilities. Based on that, I am confident in working with all young people. My teaching style prioritises engagement with students to enable their understanding and application of knowledge, concepts and processes. My teaching is highly student-centred and driven, to ensure lessons are structured to suit your abilities and personal preferences. I use a variety of interactive teaching methods such as brainstorming to allow the students to push themselves and take on the challenge. It will be good practice when dealing with exam questions. I pay attention to make students all-rounder learners and will help them to develop subject specific revision methods, time management, planning and study skills.  Being a student myself, I am up to date and well informed with the exam specifications and strategies to answer exam questions. This allows me to broaden my approaches when conceptualising ideas. I am friendly and creative, so students will have an enjoyable session with me. Apart from teaching, I am mostly reading scientific and non-fiction. I enjoy exploring nature and cycling too.
