Find Your Perfect Politics Tutor

Hi! I’m a friendly, enthusiastic and academically driven tutor who is passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve their goals. I achieved an A* in A Level Politics, an A in A Level Geography, and Grade 9s in GCSE Religious Studies, Spanish, English Literature, English Language and Geography. Alongside my academic achievements, I have developed strong communication, debating and leadership skills through attending the international session of the European Youth Parliament and chairing several Model United Nations conferences. These experiences have strengthened my ability to explain ideas clearly, think critically and engage with different perspectives. I use exam-board specifications, past papers, mark schemes and proven exam techniques to make lessons engaging and closely aligned with what students need to succeed. I tailor each session to the student, whether they need help understanding content, improving essay structure, mastering exam technique or pushing towards the highest grades. Outside academics, I enjoy playing badminton and staying engaged with politics and current affairs. I aim to make every lesson supportive, interactive and enjoyable, while helping students make real progress.

Hi There! I'm Zoya and I was Head Girl at St. Dominic's Sixth Form College. During my time I consistently worked as a bridge between peers and the teaching staff/Governing body of the sixth form. I networked with politicians, dentists, doctors and set up opportunities such as Hustings events or talks with peers of the House of Lords to assist my peers, and would love to continue to do the same. At A-Level I achieved A* (English Literature), A (Law) and B (Politics), the subject I am currently studying at University Level. I have experience tutoring my peers from as young as year 4, and have always been a reliable choice for explaining concepts well and more. I know what it's like to feel lost in the classroom and unsure of how to ask, so knowing that my tutoring style would be welcoming to all questions, with the aim of being clear and flexible with my pace. I did receive an offer from Trinity College, Cambridge and would love to additionally help others on their UCAS journey's with personal statements, applications and interview practise. I fully understand the pressure of it all and would hope to be a friendly but firm ally during that time for another prospective Oxbridge student. I enjoy tutoring above all and I feel that's something that would shine through during sessions. I would be a punctual, flexible and reliable candidate, over-prepared for all sessions and enthusiastic. Thank you for taking the time to consider me!

I am completing my part time MA in Political and Strategic Communication at Kings College London, and have been an A-Level Politics tutor for nearly 2 years. I am a passionate tutor who can cater to a wide range of students, always fostering a positive and productive learning environment.

Hi! I'm Stella, and I just graduated with a Master's degree from Queen's College, University of Oxford. At GCSE, I achieved all grades A/A*/8/9, including 9s in English Literature, English Language, and History, and an 8 in Mathematics. At A-Level, I achieved grades A*/A*/A in English Literature, Government and Politics, and Art and Design, which led me to receive an unconditional offer to study at the University of Birmingham. I graduated from Birmingham with a First-Class Honours BA in American and Canadian Studies, which involved writing First-Class essays on literature, history, politics, and art history. I was also the sole recipient of the Brian Harding Prize for excellence in my field. At Oxford, I was awarded the George Oakes Scholarship for American Studies on the merit of my application and undergraduate writing samples, meaning that my studies were funded. During my Master’s, I completed Distinction-graded essays in literature, poetry, and philosophy, achieving a high Merit overall. Outside of academia, I have worked in gallery and museum outreach, through which I have years of experience patiently and enthusiastically teaching young people about the humanities and supporting them to feel knowledgeable and confident. As someone who went to state school and then received a scholarship to study at Oxford, I am very motivated to continue to support others!

Hi! I am a tutor that has just graduated from the University of Oxford with a BA in History! I've really enjoyed tutoring in the past and feel that, having gone through various examinations and obstacles (such as lockdown!) myself, I know what it takes to ensuring that any gaps in knowledge and understanding are filled. I am confident that I can deliver to students both the content and the techniques required to understand, remember and apply this content to exams and questions!

Hi! My name is Sahdev and I am a passionate and engaging tutor specialising in 11+ preparation and A level economics, politics and geography. I achieved A*AA in A level and am about to begin my studies at the University of Warwick. I pride myself in being a clear and effective communicator who can break down complex topics into simple explanations that are easy to understand. My teaching style is interactive and tailored to each student’s needs as I look to help them build confidence as well as knowledge. Having recently gone through the exam process myself, I understand the challenges students face and can provide up to date exam strategies, revision techniques and a real insight into what examiners are looking for. If you’re looking for a tutor who is approachable, committed and results-driven, I’d love to help you succeed!

I’m an incoming UCL Undergraduate on one of the most prestigious language courses in the world. I received A*AAA in my A-Levels, the three As being single digits below the A* grade boundary, including a 99% score in my spanish speaking exam and a 96% score in my french speaking exam. I would love to help other young students during this stressful time to take advantage of my up-to-date current affairs and essay writing knowledge, as well as the tried and tested revision methods I have learnt, which I believe are invaluable given the lack of language resources across schools in the U.K. I would focus on a student centric teaching style, incorporating much active recall for optimised learning. For Politics; we would work collaboratively to analyse recent political events and incorporate these into detailed essay plans, for Spanish and French; focussing heavily on spoken content revision and speaking technique, as well as working through resources to improve vocabulary bases and essay writing at both A-Level and GCSE. I would also be happy to mark any work completed outside of sessions and go through these together. I am eager to understand what your specific needs are, and how I can ease the burden of examinations and revision through tailored lessons and personalised content. Until then, I can’t wait to hear from you!
