Hi everyone! My name is Jade Phiri. I am currently studying Biomedical Sciences at the University of Manchester. Teaching is my passion, and I love nothing more than helping students develop their skills and achieve their academic goals. I’m a tutor who believes in the power of kindness in education. I’ve seen how a compassionate approach can make a real difference in a student’s confidence and success. As I went through my education, I didn’t always understand ways certain teachers taught, yet I was always shy to ask for help when everyone else understood. I am a current student at the University of Bath studying Psychology. I am from Spain but live in Bath. I love teaching people and seeing how they light up when they understand something. Some of my hobbies are playing the piano, hanging out with my friends, and playing basketball. I will prepare my lessons beforehand and make sure that is an easy way to understand, we would first go with the theory, I would help you and provide you with some notes that I would write beforehand for you to keep it and revise it if you need it. Then we would go into the practice, and ask if you have any doubts please, we will make sure together that you understand it and try master the subject. If you have any writing or homework, we can go over it together to make sure you understand it, but in the end, you are the one learning remember.

I am an undergraduate student currently studying at Bayes Business School. Upon completion of my O and A levels, I have found interest in tutoring and would like to help students in having a smoother transition throughout their terms.
