Hi everyone! My name is Jade Phiri. I am currently studying Biomedical Sciences at the University of Manchester. Teaching is my passion, and I love nothing more than helping students develop their skills and achieve their academic goals. I’m a tutor who believes in the power of kindness in education. I’ve seen how a compassionate approach can make a real difference in a student’s confidence and success. As I went through my education, I didn’t always understand ways certain teachers taught, yet I was always shy to ask for help when everyone else understood. From these moments, having a tutor myself, and being open to ask them to explain once more, was a major milestone in my understanding of content. I have learned to teach others in a way in which helped me understand, through diagrams and visual representation. l will always ensure to create a positive and supportive environment where students can thrive.

I am an undergraduate at the University of York studying Psychology. I am paving my way to become an Educational Psychologist. I have previous experience tutoring English Literature and Language at GCSE level. I also have experience working with children age 2-12 at a school holiday club. I have safeguarding level 1 training and a DBS certification. I achieved highly in my GCSE’s and A-Levels meaning I have a strong understanding of exam technique. Throughout my A-Levels I was chosen to be the psychology ambassador due to my obvious passion and commitment to the subject, where I encouraged younger students to take my subject as an A-Level. I was also able to maintain my commitment to dance where I continued to achieve ISTD exams and shows all throughout my exams.

Hi, I'm Dari, a first year Psychology student at the university of Manchester, where my passion for the subject continues to grow. Psychology A Level: My 'A*' in A Level Psychology reflects not only my understanding of the subject, but my ability to communicate complex concepts clearly - in a way that allows you to articulate your answers well and earn you the marks. Psychology can often feel very content heavy - especially Biopsychology and Research Methods. My approach is to break tricky concepts into manageable chunks and build on them once the foundations are solid! English Language and Literature GCSEs: Having achieved top AQA grades in both English Language and Literature at GCSE Level (and 'A' at A Levels), I know what examiners are looking for across all four papers. All from responding to unseen texts in Language, to building essays around theme and character in Literature. Whether you are trying to push from a B to an A, struggling with certain topics or just want the subject to feel less daunting - I'd love to help!

Hello, My name is Annabel and I am in my second year of studying BSc Business and Management at the University of Exeter. My passion for Business started when I studied A-level Business as I was fascinated by how vast the subject was and how relevant it is to our lives today. I am particularly interested in Innovation and Entrepreneurship and this is what I would like to go into in the future and what I am gaining a proficeincy in at Univeristy. I am Dyslexic, and so I understand the challenges that come with writing long exam answers and Univerisity applications, therefore I want to help you by understanding your needs. I can also help you in Food Science and Nutrition Level 3 and revision techniques and strategies which are crucial to succeeding in your exams. Hi, my name is Sorni and I am currently studying for a Master’s degree in Chemistry, with aspirations of becoming a scientist in the pharmaceutical field. With achieving A*AA at A-level and 6 9’s at GCSES , I have always had a genuine passion for my subjects, and throughout my academic journey I have consistently achieved top grades — never scoring below an A in any test, exam, or essay. After completing A-levels in Chemistry , Biology and Psychology , my teachers personally recommended me for tutoring due to my strong academic performance and ability to explain concepts clearly. I also spent a year studying within the IB system in Denmark, which strengthened my knowledge of Chemistry at Year 12 and Year 13 level and allowed me to experience different teaching styles and approaches to learning. Alongside my studies, I have successfully supported my sister in achieving consistent A/A* grades in A-level Chemistry and have helped a friend’s sibling who is currently studying A-level Biology, developing their confidence and understanding. Outside of academics, I enjoy going to the gym, dancing, and creating art, which helps me stay balanced, creative, and motivated. I am open-minded, positive, patient, and flexible with different learning styles and paces, and I always aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building their confidence.

I’m a friendly, supportive tutor with 3+ years of experience. My approach is to engage students’ interests and make sure they feel confident and prepared when stepping into exams. My students benefit from having a tutor that has both thorough knowledge of how IB and IGCSE exams are marked and personal experience as a former student.
