I'm Deeksha, an experienced tutor with over 500+ hours of experience. I specialise in teaching Economics and Business for IGCSE, IBDP and A levels. Having completed the IBDP and IGCSE curriculums myself I have a strong understanding of the board requirements and demands of the subject. As someone who has recently navigated these exams successfully, I understand the pressure students face and aim to create a supportive, encouraging environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is not just to improve grades, but to develop independent thinkers who feel confident and capable in their abilities.

Hi! My name’s Mea Tela, I’m a 2nd year Neuroscience and Psychology student at King’s College London, one of the leading institutions in the world for this subject. I remember 4 years ago when I was sitting in my first IB Psychology class having little to no idea what the subject was about—it didn’t take long after that for me to start falling in love with psychology and decide to pursue it at degree level. 4 years into studying this subject, I’m hoping to help others do the best they can in it. In my tutoring session this looks like hands on activities, examples of real-life applications of psychological theories and exam-style questions that ensure you’re prepared for your IB exams, while also learning the beauty of psychology along the way. If that’s something that aligns with you, message or book a session with me below!

Whether supporting young learners or adult professionals, I help students gain confidence, accuracy, and natural flow in their spoken and written English. My sessions are interactive, engaging, and adapted to each student’s needs. I provide all necessary materials, offer written feedback on every homework assignment, and maintain detailed lesson notes to track progress. Parents receive regular updates to ensure transparency and consistent development. Academically, I hold two First-Class degrees from Russell Group universities: a BA (Hons) in English Language and Literature from the University of Edinburgh (2020), and an MA in Shakespeare Studies (Distinction) from King’s College London, delivered in collaboration with Shakespeare’s Globe. During my undergraduate studies, I led the Peer-Assisted Learning Scheme (PALS) for English Literature students at the University of Edinburgh. Since 2021, I have worked at King’s College London and also work as a freelance writer. My strong academic foundation, global teaching experience, and commitment to student success allow me to support learners in achieving excellent results and developing a genuine appreciation for English.

Hi, I'm Tommy, a first class Modern Languages graduate (French and Italian) of the University of Cambridge. I am an experienced tutor of French from KS3 to degree level and whilst at school tutored KS3 and GCSE pupils. Having recently been a student, I understand the difficulties faced when learning a language - but equally how rewarding making progress can be. I can share the tips and tricks I used to achieve an A* in GCSE and A-level French and a First in my degree. I am happy to focus sessions on exam preparation, literature and film, conversational French and anything in between. I make lessons fun and work to boost the student’s confidence through practice and encouragement. As a keen Francophile who lived in France for a year, I bring plenty of enthusiasm and nostalgia for the French way of life. I also have experience coaching candidates for the Oxbridge admissions process. I can share my expertise, run mock interviews and offer guidance about personal statements.

Hi! I’m Radhika, a Biomedical Sciences graduate from the University of Warwick, where I achieved an Upper Second-Class Honours (2:1) with a First-Class grade in my dissertation. I have a strong academic background in the sciences and previously completed the International Baccalaureate (IB), studying Biology at Higher Level and Mathematics at Standard Level. Having experienced the IB programme myself, I understand how challenging it can be to balance demanding subjects, coursework, revision and exam preparation. I have since mentored younger students preparing for and completing the IB, helping them understand difficult concepts, develop effective revision strategies and prepare for their exams. I also worked as a school buddy, supporting younger students as they adjusted to the academic demands of the programme. My interest in science extends beyond the classroom. I received CSIRO Silver CREST Awards in both Biology and Chemistry after completing extensive investigative research projects. These experiences, alongside my Biomedical Sciences degree, have strengthened my scientific knowledge, analytical skills and ability to communicate complex information clearly. Outside academics, I have experience coaching netball, which has taught me how to motivate, encourage and adapt my teaching style to different individuals. I also enjoy playing netball myself and have experience babysitting and working with younger students, so I understand the importance of being patient, approachable and encouraging. I have also completed professional internships across banking, stockbroking and auditing and have experience working in a pharmacy, where I took the initiative to train and mentor new staff. These experiences have helped me become highly organised, reliable and confident when communicating with people from different backgrounds. As a tutor, I want students to feel comfortable asking questions without worrying about getting something wrong. I aim to make challenging topics feel more manageable by breaking them down into clear steps and adapting sessions to each student’s needs. Whether a student wants to strengthen their understanding of Biology or Maths, prepare for an upcoming exam, improve their study techniques or simply become more confident in a subject, my goal is to help them make genuine progress while becoming more independent in their learning.

Hi, I have been tutoring Economics and Mathematics for a couple of years. I like to teach students how to think rather than what to think, helping students understand concepts intuitively rather than memorising them - which is the key to success in both of these subjects. I also help students with university applications, including the TMUA and personal statements.
