Edumentors.co.uk is a one-to-one tutoring platform for pupils aged 4 to 19. We find you, the talented young tutors and help you share knowledge with others in need. You can choose to work online, in person, or both. It's up to you. The salary range depends on your experience, qualification and your commitment. The entry salary range is £15-25 per 50 min with the opportunity to progress and make even more after six months of service.

Working with us is easy peasy! To become a tutor with us you need to click on the button “Become a tutor” and follow the instructions. You will receive an interview invitation email with a calendar link so you could book a timeslot for a 15-minute online interview. After the interview we will guide you through the process to become a verified Edumentors tutor and start teaching on our platform.

We love meeting our new tutors! We like to make sure that you are enthusiastic, well organised and have good communication skills. The interview is a good way to get to know each other better. We are interested to know who you truly are, so don’t stress and just be yourself. Meeting our team is also a great opportunity to ask any questions about how our platform works.

It is great if you have any kind of tutoring experience but if you do not you needn't worry about it. If you have a strong interest in becoming a tutor and are enthusiastic about it, you are more than welcome! We will indicate on the platform that you are just starting and will help you grow into an experienced tutor together with us.

Payout is always made directly to your linked bank account via Stripe, a secure online payments platform. We release payments to you twice a month, on the 3rd day and 18th day of each month. We will pay only for the completed sessions. Payment on the 18th day of each month will include sessions held from 1 - 15th, and payment on the 3rd day of each month will include sessions held from 16th to the last day of the previous month. For more details please see our Terms and Conditions Article 6.

Yes! The number of working hours depends on your availability. Our expectation would be min. 5 sessions a week. Each session lasts for 50 mins.

Yes, you can set your fees based on your experience. We will advise you what price to set, but we give our tutors full independence on how much they want to charge parents. In other words, we will not cap your earnings like some other platforms do!

If you earn more than the minimum untaxed income set by the HMRC, then you will need to declare it. Bear in mind that Income Tax laws are different in every country, so we recommend you seek professional advice to be on a safer side.

Yes. You can send a reschedule request from the platform and once the parent approves it, the session will be rescheduled. However, please bear in mind that if the parent decides to cancel books sessions as a result of disrupted study plans due to your rescheduling requests, you would be liable for the company’s fees on the cancelled sessions as set out in our Terms and Conditions.
