Hi I'm Rosie, I completed my A Levels in the summer of 2024 and am now studying Medicine at the University of Exeter. I achieved high grades in my GCSEs (eight grade 9s & two grade 8s) and A Levels (A*AA in biology, chemistry and geography) and balanced my academic studies alongside my hobbies of rowing and music :) Throughout GCSEs and A Levels, I was tested by many challenging concepts and exam questions... at times this was frustrating!! However, it led me to develop a large variety of strategies for breaking down and understanding difficult content. As a tutor, I will share these techniques & resources to help students overcome their own barriers to schoolwork or exam revision. I have very confident communication skills and really enjoy working with young people! I hope that with my experience and strategies, my tutees will feel better equipped to achieve their academic goals.

My name is Reka, a Hungarian-British recent graduate from the University of Cambridge. At university, I studied Geography, with a specialisation in physical Geography. I also have a love of reading and enjoy casually learning about etymology. Throughout my life, I have always enjoyed helping others, whether as a teaching assistant to younger years in secondary school, or as an assistant in university level teaching. Consistently achieving high grades throughout my education, I always want to pass on my knowledge to others! In terms of experience, I have extensively tutored my siblings in both Geography and English Language, helping them achieve grade 7 or higher even whilst they were predicted a grade 4. I patiently worked with them weekly to improve on their skills and tailored my methods to each of their learning styles. I have also volunteered as a teaching assistant in lower set maths classes, which has allowed me to understand the care and patience those who might struggle more with learning may need. I am a patient and understanding tutor, who will always adjust to individual student needs. I have always loved to learn and through tutoring, I hope to help you reach your full potential, and love each subject as much as I do!

Hello, my name is Dominic and I am currently studying Biochemistry at University. My passion for this subject comes from combining my two favourite subjects from school - biology and chemistry - which allows me to explore how the human body works and why it works in the way it does. As a former participant in a tutoring programme, I understand the value of personalised support and guidance. I aim to share my experiences and knowledge with my students, and help them achieve their academic goals. Having been through the same experiences as my students, I can certainly empathise with the pressures that arise during the lead-up to exams and the exam period itself. My approach to tutoring is to begin by reviewing the content of the subject in question, ensuring that the student has a solid understanding of the material. I then help students understand how the content will be examined, showing the types of questions that will be asked and offering advice on exam technique, including how to recognise common tricks that exams use. Finally, I provide targeted support for specific exams, reviewing in-class tests or mock exams, and answering any questions the student has about the subject. I believe that my experiences and expertise can make a significant difference in helping you achieve your academic goals.
