Hello! I’m Koby and am a 3rd year medical student at the University of Cambridge. With over 5 years of tutoring experience, I focus on a holistic, engaging and student-centric approach to teaching, whilst sharing my passion and love for learning! Understanding a topic is one thing but understanding what the examiners are looking for can sometimes be a whole other issue. Hello! My name is Gavindu and I'm currently doing an Integrated Masters in Computer Science at the University of York. I have been tutoring for 2.5 years in Maths and Computer Science, as well as being a programming tutor for CodeNinjas. I have completed formal training in tutoring and have a lot of experience tutoring children with special needs. My teaching style consists more of building the child's interest in the subject, rather than teaching the content for the sake of it, since interest is what helps understanding and inspires further learning. With that, my lessons will be fun and engaging while being fully informative, as the lessons will be based fully on the exam specification. As for my results, I have achieved 9's in Maths, Computer Science, Music and all sciences. I also achieved an A* in Computer Science at A level and a few marks off an A* in maths. Hello Everyone, I’m Netra and I am currently a 4th year medical student undergoing a bachelor’s in medicine and surgery at the University of Manchester. I have also completed an intercalated master’s degree in Tissue Engineering for Regenerative Medicine (Msc), for which I have won the Wolfson Award, awarded by the Royal College of Physicians. Previously, I undertook A levels in Maths, Chemistry and Biology in which I received A* A* A. I have had 5 years of teaching students, both informally as a mentor during sixth form and formally as a private tutor. I tutor in Biology, Chemistry and Maths for all ages up until GCSE. My lessons are normally 1 hour and are tailored to encourage an interest in science and enhance fun in learning. I have enjoyed studying sciences over the years, but I understand how frustrating and confusing it can be. As such, my aim is to tutor students in maths and sciences in an easy-to-understand and concise approach, whilst encouraging curiosity and enthusiasm for science!
