Hi, I'm Holden. I am an undergraduate student at the University of Oxford studying Physics! Over the years, I’ve developed a strong understanding of maths and physics through my own studies and personal experience, and I'd love to share my tips and strategies that have worked for me with you. Since September, I have been tutoring students in maths and physics, and I’m proud to say that all of them have achieved A* predicted grades! Helping students build confidence and reach their full potential is something I find incredibly rewarding, and I strive to break down complex topics into clear, understandable steps.

Hey I am Karisse. I graduated over a year ago with a Upper Class Honours in Law (LLB) from the University of Leeds. I A levels in Law, Business and Psychology, and I have always loved learning ever since I was little. I would love to pass on my knowledge and help with subject content and essay skills.

One of the experiences that shaped my passion for teaching was serving as a peer mentor at school. I used to tutor students younger than me in Sciences and Mathematics, which helped them improve their confidence and performance. What this taught me, though, was patience, clear communication, and tailoring my approach to each student's unique learning style. Through weekly sessions, I worked to make complex ideas accessible by giving very practical, relatable examples. It was so rewarding to see my mentees grow in confidence and accomplish their goals; it motivated me to move on and support others on their academic journeys. This experience has given me the competence to help students improve in a positive and challenging learning environment. I certainly do understand the importance of encouragement and consistency in the development of academic success and self-belief.

I am currently a Medical student at the University of Exeter. Having experienced the stress of a level and applying to medical school I want to help reduce the stress for students, sharing all my tips and tricks. Hi! I'm Raph and I’m currently studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London after having achieved A*A*A*A*A at A-level in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, French and Chemistry respectively. I’ve been through the stress and hurdles of successfully applying to a highly competitive university and course but especially, I’ve been through the stress of A-levels, the non stop revision for a month and I can help that month be more enjoyable and successful. Besides academics I love to make things, personal projects ranging from electronics to automate my daily life to coding websites. And this fuels my love for science, notably maths and physics. I am a tutor because I find that sciences are quick to be hated on by younger students. So I have a particular approach to teaching that makes lessons that much more enjoyable. I get the student to figure out the solution by guiding them with hints instead of giving them the answer. I find that learning to problem solve is much more effective than walking through a solution. Furthermore, I myself enjoy sciences by finding alternate ways of thinking that I share with my students, I find that these mnemonic techniques really boost students' understanding on a deeper level. After my lessons, students are not only able to understand a topic but are also able to use their newly acquired problem solving skills. I've previously tutored students who have substantially increased their average grades. I hope to help you or your children to boost their grades or get into their desired university.

Hi! I'm Nidhu, a 4th Year medical student from St George's University of London, currently undertaking an intercalated BSc at King's College London. I have over 200 hours of tutoring experience, helping students with Maths, Biology, Chemistry, UCAT and medical admissions. All students have different learning styles and I believe a good tutor should be able to adapt their style of teaching to the student. This is something I strive to do and provide the best possible tutoring experience for them. I like to have regular phone calls with the student/parent to discuss progress and provide homework to do outside of lesson. Many of my students have jumped up 1-3 grades in their respective subjects and have been committed through multiple stages of their education (GCSE, A-Level, University Admission). The medicine application process is tough. Having someone who has gone through it all to guide you really simplifies the process and reduces a lot of stress it may cause. All 4 of my medical interview students last year received at least 2 offers and all of them achieved their final grades to secure their conditional offer. I look forward to helping more students achieve their goals and making a positive impact on their lives.

Hi there, My name is Aaron and I'm a third year medical student at Imperial College London. I think what I can give as a tutor is insight from my own personal experience on how to best go over different topics and ace exams and because I am someone who uses various learning styles myself I have been quite adaptable over the years as a tutor to tailor my teaching style to best suits the students needs. Hi! My name is Connor and I am a Phd student at the University of Oxford studying Engineering Science. My expertise, however, lies in tutoring mathematics - where I have tutored 50+ lessons on the STEP and MAT test with 5 star ratings. At school I achieved A*s in Mathematics and Further Mathematics A-level, so I understand what it takes to get the top grades and enjoy sharing that knowledge.
