Hello I'm Bismi and I'm a 3rd year Medical Student at the University of St. Andrews. I design my lessons by identifying areas of weakness and then delve further into those areas - therefore each lesson I design is unique to individual students as some students may struggle with not achieving the marks examiners are looking for, whilst others may struggle grasping certain concepts. Together, we'll tackle what you find challenging and develop effective strategies for mastering them. To reinforce your knowledge, each session concludes with me testing you on what we've covered to track your progress. I am committed on providing excellent tutoring and have been tutoring since I was in year 10. I am therefore familiar with grasping students weakness, common mistakes. I have experience in creating an engaging and effective learning environment to help students grasp and retain information, thereby leading to exceptional exam performance. In my free time, I live in the Gym or you'd find me playing badminton with my friends! I hope to instil into my students that studying is equally about academics as well as doing what they enjoy! If you're interested, please feel free to get in touch!

I am a passionate tutor who genuinely enjoys helping students succeed. Having been in the same position myself not long ago, I understand the challenges students face and how to overcome them effectively. I specialise in Mathematics, English, Economics, and Business, and I studied (MSC and BSC) at the University of Warwick, where I achieved a First in my first year. Alongside my academic background, I bring real-world industry experience from J.P. Morgan Asset Management and Bloomberg. This allows me to connect theoretical concepts to practical applications in finance, business, and economics — helping students understand not just what to learn, but why it matters. My lessons focus on practical strategies, exam techniques, and high-impact resources that students consistently find valuable. Sessions are engaging, structured, and results-driven, equipping students with tools they can immediately apply in their studies. My teaching approach is personalised and aligned with each student’s school curriculum. I begin by identifying key areas of difficulty, then systematically work through the syllabus to ensure complete exam readiness. Every topic is covered thoroughly and strategically, with a strong emphasis on understanding, application, and confidence-building. This method has proven highly effective in my own academic and professional journey, and I am committed to helping students achieve the same outcomes.
