I’m a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Warwick with a strong background in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Physics. I have a solid understanding of core STEM concepts, problem-solving, and exam technique, and I enjoy helping students develop confidence and clarity in challenging topics. Furthermore, I am mostly conversant with Edexcel and AQA exam boards for Mathematics, and with AQA and OCR for Science. I’ve always believed that the best investment one can make is in learning, especially when it’s done with patience, clarity, and care. I studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bristol, earning my MEng (Integrated Master’s), but I’ve found some of my most meaningful work happens not in labs or lecture halls, but one-on-one with a student and a problem to solve. As a tutor, I’ve helped students from age 6 to 20 grow more confident in mathematics, from foundational skills all the way to A-Level, IB, and university preparation. Hi! I'm Oscar, and I'm a third-year student at the University of Warwick studying Computer Science. Having been through the pressure of GCSEs, A-levels, and UCAS, I understand the pressures students face and have a relaxed yet careful approach to tutoring. This includes ensuring content is thoroughly understood through many examples and exam questions, as well as focusing on exam technique by utilising examiners' reports and mark schemes provided by exam boards to help students write the best answers possible.
